Hey there, thax for the video. I have a doubt, would it be allowed to use a tool outside syllabus like say Porter's five forces?

Hi. There is some debate about this. Technically, there's nowhere that says you can't do this. But for the IA, it's generally recommended to stay within the syllabus - there should be enough tools and theories to choose from.

If the interview was conducted in a different language, should I include both transcript and translation, or just translated version?

Assuming you mean you conducted the interview yourself. I would include the interview questions and a summary of the responses in the original language. I would then highlight the relevants part of the interview, then translate the highlighted parts into english (this is all assuming English is the language the IA is being written in)

can we take a transcribed video file of an interview conducted by a news channel as a supporting document ?

You are allowed to use one (max) video or audio files as a supporting document. You also need to provide a transcript which covers the main parts. Note - it's recommended that the video comes from a reliable source. If you deem the news channel not reliable, then I would look for a written article.

Glad you find it useful. I cannot comment on a individual IA Research Question. However, in general motivation theories are a useful tool for an IA.
