This TV adaptation is actually quite rare...or it used to be. So I guess you could call it; "medium rare." Denholm Elliott was a real "scene-stealer." He acted, without showing the audience that he was acting. A remarkable actor. Sadly missed. R.I.P. By the way Misty, Happy Easter. X

This is my favorite Shirley MacLaine movie. Gone are the usual Shirley MacLaine mannerisms and responses to situations. Shirley is playing a real character here. And she has surrounded herself with real actors here who are quite believable as real people. I love Mariam Colon who plays her housekeeper who you suspect from the beginning that she knows more than she is telling. The actor who plays Joel, Perry King and the woman who plays his psychiatrist are such natural actors. And I love the way the plot builds slowly and how you can see the contrast between two colliding worlds. The movie is interesting in what it doesn't say.

Children see so much so young these days. Me....I slept with my head beneath the blankets for the next four years. And that is no exaggeration. Denholm Elliot's count is much more the sleek, overfed leech of folklore. When I first saw it again about six years ago, I could still remember almost every scene.

Saw this as a kid. Scared the bezesus outta me. Especially since we lived in the country. Too easy to imagine things that go bump in the night as werewolves & other terrifying things.

First time I ever seen a Zombie duck it’s head ( scene when Zombie going through the door way).

That scene where he was unable to enter the prayer pentagram was inspired.

Werewolf uses a shovel to bury a head when a werewolf is a beast that can’t coordinate its actions. Funny scene and quite twisted really.

This was a good werewolf movie and scary to me when I was a kid. Older now.

This movie has been re-done to many times! Nothing beats the original ✔ Not worth watching 😮😔🤭
