Hiii I love the “yapping” it’s like a FaceTime 😂I also love buying variegated yarn because they’re so pretty butttt I know I’ll never wear it as a garment so then I think wellll another blanket wouldn’t hurt😅 at this point all my family members are getting blankets!! I love how your granny square blanket is looking!

i love the look and feel of cotton yarns but its such a struggle for me to weave in ends and have the ends stay hidden 😖

me too, especially for summer pieces 🥲 have to be very picky as to where you weave them or they stick out soo bad

I'm making a balaclava out of granny squares with a skull in the centre. 4* skull granny, 4* regular granny (7 rounds) then im going to finish with a row of dc three times and weave in a long chain to pull tight :) i also have the estrid scarf im 1/2way through a kindle cover that i'm making from mondial van gogh (discontinued)

On a crochet note, I know how you feel about getting bored. I just separated all my WIP’s into individual bags last night and it’s a sad state haha. I am hoping making them accessible will motivate me to finish them up. I have some Noro yarn I found in a thrift store 4 balls of it unused. That was definitely a golden find. Noro has such great colorways.

honestly just to practise! start simple and work your way up to complex pieces, and know that your crochet won't ever be completely perfect, also learning from ur mistakes as you go! crochet is an ongoing learning process 🫶
