I love Refused, but it's annoying seeing people say everything they released in the nineties was "ahead of its time." Shape of Punk to come was, yes. Not their early stuff like this. It just sounds like American hardcore punk. I like it, just saying.

This spring starts their farewell tour. If you haven’t seen them live yet, you really really should. They’re incredible and energetic and so tight. I’ve seen them twice so far and I’ll be seeing them in Brooklyn next year. Out of all of the shows I have been to, these guys have consistently outshone every other band. A Refused show is electric from start to finish just like their sound.
