I can understand why she wouldn't want to be part of the music industry any longer, but gosh, to imagine never hearing her sing again leaves my heart heavy. She is one of a kind.

Its interesting that my 2 favorite songs ,in my lifetime have been written and performed by people that followed indian based religion, george Harrison( my guitar gently weeps) and K.D,( constant craving.) But K.D, can sing anybodys music and make it memorable..LOVE YOU K.D,

Congratulations KD. Keep 🎵 singing , you’re so talented I just love you for your set. In nursing homes and doing some songs would make the people happy and that’s service you referred to. Keep life rolling, there’s Plays at the Met and orchestras mirror of ourselves. You have Great expressions. I’m into Buddhism and Stoicism!❤❤❤

K.D. Lang's integrity and simplicity in being herself, without succumbing to the lure of social media fame or altering her image to fit a more 'marketable' persona, remain admirable. For those who have never experienced KD Lang live, they have missed more than just a performance; they’ve missed a profound connection to an artist who embodies the true spirit of music and its power to convey deep messages. Here's hoping she graces the stage again soon, offering new audiences and longtime fans alike the chance to witness her incredible talent and authenticity. Her presence in the music scene back in 1989 truly showcased her as a pioneer, fearlessly embracing her authenticity in an era when doing so was far from the norm. Her courage to express her true self and her strong opinions about environmental and social issues set her apart. KD Lang's approach to music was refreshingly honest; she sang from the heart, not for ego gratification or to meet industry demands. Unlike many in the spotlight who succumb to the pressures of provocative branding, KD stayed true to her love for music, something deeply missed on today’s radio waves.

K D you were a great daughter. When my hubby and I would go out for dinner in Edmonton we would see you taking your Mom out for dinner at a little restaurant in Riverbend. I was always remember that people here would not bother them and let them have their time together. I miss not hearing you singing anymore because you are a great Canadian singer. My deepest condolences to hear you lost your Mom. I am sure that Tony is taking care of her in heaven. ❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦❤️
