Thought I'd click on this just to find out what it's about. Turns out to be rather boring. Back in the mid 90's my wife bought me "Absolute Torch and Twang" because I had heard her voice and style of singing and had to have some. Our kids were about 4,6 and 9 at the time and they still enjoy K.D. This type of interview (IMO) is risky and unnecessary. Would anyone like to hear my political views?....prolly not. I'm a very successful construction business owner....not some philosopher.

I love her voice, it's like silk... when her voice is quiet and controlled or soars in rich power I hold my breath in awe..and it's like she's singing to my heart. I'm so grateful to have been able to hear this amazing woman and her gift. Thank you K.D.

I'm a long time fan. Saw her in concert (mid '90's) at Cincinnati Music Hall - probably the concert hall with the best acoustics in the city. I would say that if you have not heard her live, you have really missed something special. It was rich and lush. Her banter felt genuine and was at times playful; as she knew she was playing to a predominately gay audience. I cheered and whooped; stood and clapped and cheered and whooped some more. The following day, I was hoarse from it all.
