I thought it was only something we in the German-speaking countries do. But after having visited my husband’s family in Wales and my brother-in-law’s family in Texas, I realised there’s an entire industry that uses cookies as a cover up for an armada of grandmothers who put these tins to much better use.

I have 3 of them stacked in a popcorn can. One is for the tools I need for current projects (leatherworking), one is sewing stuff and the other is mostly stamps and punches. Things shuffle as needed. It's amazing how well this system works for me lol

My grandma had hundreds if those tins all over her apartment. One time when I was over, when I was like, four or five, I opened one and was shocked to find that that particular tin actually had cookies in it. My grandma laughed so hard when I asked her why she had cookies in her "string box" (i was 4 or 5, I didn't know what a sewing kit was yet)

*will only work with woven materials (so not fleece etc) but is the best merhod for burlap, faux fur, woven cottons...

It's a very nice pattern; but it is hard to see white on white; i.e. white thread, white material, and a light color sewing machine. I would use a dark color for the blouse and stitch with white so we could see what we are doing better. Hope that makes sense.

@@jackelineperez5153 estaba en tamaño 100% real y me salían 45 paginas, el molde me salió Ré grande, entonces puse escala 50% y ahí me salió la medida que te dije y 14 páginas en tamaño póster
