Hey SNP, word of advice: 1) you don't need 2 barracs per province, you only need the main one (the one that lets you recruit infantry and cavalry). 2) You need farms for food, not grain settlement, the farms gives you 7 at the start but as you upgrade it, it will give you more food. 3) Only make Thracia or Illyira (depending on your conquests) your initial fleet base. 4) One templ, one sanitation, 1 farm per minor settlement, trading port for all ports, 1 military building per province, those are the key buildings for any province, the rest is up to you. 5) Remember that armies are way more expensive on my mod, at this stage, you only need 2 full armies. 6) Watch public order and politics. Hope this helps you out a bit!

Good call on the Better ai recruitment mod, it's a great addon, no longer the ai will spam infinite stacks of range units lol

AI acted the way it did because of the reworked rosters, recruitment and garrisons, both for mayor and minor factions. Having better and more units for both the garrisons (they are bigger) and the units recruited, the AI has better armies. In your case, it had an army that outnumbered you and had a lot of mid tier units, that made the AI rush you out.

I may stream some Halo MCC as I'm trying to get 100% achievements I would probably stream mostly LASO and the Legendary speedruns and I might stream other games if I have time I'm not 100% sure I even have time to do some MCC

Poor Hoplites, remember formations are key now, use phalanx instead of charging and then forming, hoplites will be the anvil, the companion the hammer. Take my mod as a new complete game lol, be careful and thoughtful SNP. Yet again, good luck with the campaign.
