Thank you for the film. I’ve visited here many times over the years and it’s a place I’ll feature in one of my upcoming films. Painful to bear at the mindless ignorance of idiots who trash our heritage. No sense of identity or respect for what has gone before us, or even a thought for those who do care. It’s good to see you filming again.

Thank you for this interesting video. We travel often to East Lothian from Lancashire and have passed the sign for this place many times- I will definitely make a stop and have a look next time . I have no idea why anyone would want to vandalise such a place- I hope the funding is found to restore it .

It makes me wonder what state their homes must be in? Perhaps making them do labour when they are collecting unemployment benefit, would give them less time to obliterate everything they see!

This has bizarrely popped up on my feed via the algorithm. So glad it has as I absolutely love this and the rest you do. Short, sweet and just stunning. It just so happens, my great grandfather x12 was Sir James Balfour of Pittenreich who was Queen Mary's advisor. I would love to have been a fly on the wall all those years ago to see how they conspired to remove and ultimately assassinate Lord Darnley to make way for James Hepburn. The accompanying music is beautiful too. I'm impressed with your channel and just subbed
