Crazy. The stock 0-60 time is listed as about 5.5 seconds.
@BrunerTuner22 күн бұрын
Yeahhhh but if you look into the science between how they get those numbers, it's virtually unattainable for a normal street run and if you care about your car.
@kotymccallister515022 күн бұрын
@BrunerTuner seems plausible. Because I get about 6 seconds with mine. Oddly enough, I got roughly the same with my celica gts.
@BrunerTuner22 күн бұрын
@kotymccallister5150 yeah they will dump clutches, rev the piss out of it, do it on prepped surfaces on ideal days, all kinds of hackery. I did try a launch one day when it was in the summer and the hot surface got me about 5.4~ish. Celica GTS is pretty quick and light tho, fun car I'm sure!
@kotymccallister515022 күн бұрын
@BrunerTuner yeah, they're quick. The power to weight ratio on paper isn't nearly as good on the celica AND it's all top end above 6,000rpm so it makes me think my 350z is pretty tired and not making the 300hp it's supposed to make. If I could drive two cars at once I would race them 😂

@BrunerTunerАй бұрын
@flyingmulerider7166 no problem! You'll have no issue at all. I bought that tri-fold aluminum ramp and it's been infinitely helpful. I actually usually just try to get the ramp to a good angle on the loading surface, and then ride it up!

@shunt8084Ай бұрын
Overall very good and thorough. Small suggestions to your process. Uncap the brake fluid reservoir to allow fluid to “backflush” when pushing pistons in. Buy a cheap piston tool to simplify pushing pistons back without risk of marring your painted caliper. If you don’t have a scan tool for the rear electronic parking brake, you will need to manually separate the EPB motor from the rear caliper. Not too hard, just two torx bolts. Then manually turn EPB to 0 position. Consider adding a little brake grease to pad points where they meet retain clips, and perhaps between wheel hub and rotor to inhibit rusting together. Make sure you pump the brakes several times after you are finished to ensure stopping power is regained before driving off, else they will feel mushy at first.
