For real. Union Pacific has removed dead mechanical bells with GS Type 3s, which is as there is only 2 more in Laredo.

@@TX_Rails54 I live in Arkansas where the SSW runs through Pine Bluff from as east of St Louis and as southwest of Houston and most of the wch signals replaced by Siemens/Safetran and the NEG e-bells.

Sad, in the early going to mid 2010s they did replace the old signals with Siemens signals. Now they aren’t even replacing the signal itself they are just replacing the incandescent lights and dead WCH 0333s with electro tech LEDs and gs type 3s
