@@Ememe246 Well that's debatable. I'd agree she can sing, but to claim she's one of the greatest vocalists is a stretch. But even if she is a 'great' vocalist, that doesn't justify the incessant gushes of adoration that place her (and vocalists generally) on equal footing with actual musical talent i.e. writers / instrumentalists / creators etc. Singing is something millions of people can do, whilst creating true art is a rarity. You can't honestly place someone who can sing in the same bracket as the likes of Bjork, Prince, Nina Simone, Miles Davis, David Bowie etc etc etc..... In my view there is a HUGE difference. That's why I say she is a puppet. She dances, she sings, she looks great doing it. The end. So what!! All the 'talent' is around her in the production of her brand / material, that's the difference between a manufactured artist and a true artist. It's the latter that get my respect, not the puppet at the front in the sparkly dress.
