This was such an awesome night, glad there's a recording of it! Mike (vocalist on the left) used to sing for Riot once upon a time, but was there as the front man for the support band on this occasion. After Riot started their set Todd spotted Mike in the crowd and called him up on stage. If I recall correctly he asked, "Do you remember Angel Eyes? Can we get this guy a microphone?" and then they went straight into it. Amazing to see two great Riot singers sharing the spotlight like old friends.

This is a great version, love it! First heard it in about 2003 on the Australian metal show Screaming Symphony on local station PBS. But who the heck is Confusicus, and what does he have to do with a love song??
