The LS is a great engine. Probably better than the BB. Don’t care, big block all day!

I think it looked good with some drag radials on the back with some 10 inch wide weld wheels , and skinny’s in front , nearer the beam , to move front wheels in some , flares would look good , same size on the back, cut fronts down some , to match skinny wheels and tires 👍👍👍 have the drag look , and use wheelie bars 😬😬😬
@kimberlywilliams975722 күн бұрын
Gonna need those wheelie bars for sure! Those fender flares look really cool! Can't wait to see it finished! 😁👍

Why not only cut a section off where the frame can slide in?
@TheOddRodGarage28 күн бұрын
Thinning the frame weakens the frame. Most of the weight of the car is up front. Thanks for watching!

I'm a big block guy and I have been for many years I just put my .060 over 427 with 11 to 1 compression howards roller cam afr heads victor jr. Intake and atm 950 cfm in my 88 monte carlo SS and there is something about that engine just sitting in that car that screams cool. A LS has its place but I think running them NA there is no comparison now when you take a stock 5.3 or 6.0 and put twin turbos on it then you have something ive only heard a few good sounding LS engines most of them sound like a shrimp boat running

I think it would be cool to narrow the beam in front some , and put skinny weld wheels in front 15/4s , then do a 15/10 in rear , with a little off set , with a drag radial , would be slick , orange , will be cool also , just some ideals , enjoy watching , thanks for the videos 👍👍👍👍

What holes did you line up to put it back together? Did you drill new hole through the outside of the frame?

Well if you are 400 pounds trying to fit a size 4 shoe on you are going to change that shoe. Why stuff a v8 in a lil car when you can twin turbo the 4cylinder and make 400+ hp

Did a pretty nice job, but I definitely would not trust how you welded that frame for the rear end. Part has a hot rod builder. That’s pretty crappy work but that’s just my opinion. I’ve built a lot of frames.

I'm not sure why big block = 454. I'm running a 632 from Blueprint. You can certainly get the 815+ hp out of a suoercharged LS, but probably not on pump gas, and reliability will come into question. If you have to run methanol to turn up the boost, it really reaks havoc on all the parts. Sound was covered here, but the 632 is generally much deeper and more distinctive than an LS.
