This was the Evostar. Because the 533MC crops in there’s no stretched stars on the images. And I wanted to zoom in so I didn’t require a reducer.

That Carina shot is jaw dropping man, awesome work! Carina is my number one bucket list target that I hope to shoot someday. I'm planning a trip to the Florida Keys to try to shoot it from here, but hopefully someday I'll make it to the southern hemisphere to shoot some of those beautiful targets you guys have.

Skywatcher 82ED with SW flatener on top of iOptron CEM 26, and ZWO stuff... guide camera and scope 30/120 mm, 294MC PRO, ASiair plus 32gb. As I live in bottle 8 sky, planing buy a l-Xtreme filter. I've mounting this setup since oct 2023, reach your channel after buy the 82ed, and since then, learning with you what can be done with this setup. Thanks for your remote assistance lol. I believe you live in gold coast right? So maybe you know the sky of lower beechmont, where my brother live... It is a amazing place to make DSO photos or even for naked eyes observation... syd dunkan park is one of the best spots I have the pleasure to know for astrophoto. Have a g'day bro!

I use a full size ASIAIR with the 533MC Pro. I don’t bother guiding. I make sure my Polar Alignment is spot on and start shooting.

Considering Kansas runs from 40° to 37° latitude, I believe the Large Magellenic Cloud makes its closest appearance during winter months (Dec - Feb), at approximately 17° below the horizon. I.e., it's a joke. I laughed, because I feel it too. There are many southern targets I hope to see one day. Hello from 44° latitude!

Received mine today for my az-eq5 and one thing I would recommend is to replace the top m6 screws that attach the mount head to the pier with m6 thumbscrews for faster setup and takedown when transporting it around.
