Not an exact one, but the short sides of the triangle want to be about 45% of the circumference of the dog's neck, c x

سلام، در حالت ایده آل شما پنبه 100٪ ارگانیک می خواهید. برای تست ثبات رنگ یا حذف رنگ اضافی آن را قبل از استفاده در آب جوش خیس کنید. c x

You can try pinching and sewing across the bottom corners before turning out to make a box bottom, c x

Awesome, except you are using the rotary cutter dangerously. You should always cut away from you!

I know, but years of cutting with a scalpel makes pushing the blade away a really alien concept. To be honest I struggle to see how either way is dangerous unless your fingers are overhanging the rule, in which case pushing would be just as risky surely? c x

They are set on UK A4 size so as long as you are printing at 100% and not 'fit to page' they should come out perfectly, c x

Great video! Question: do u need to do that inside out thing with the lining? Can’t you just put it in regular and stitch the top ? I’m a bit confused about that part

Glad you like it, yes - you can put the lining in and stitch the top but I find it easier (and neater) to sew around the top with everything inside out, saves you having to turn under 5mm along the top before stitching and hides all the raw edges, c x

I'm sorry, I can't find it now either. I know the Sewmag site is going through a relaunch and some things have been taken off temporarily; this must be one of them. It should be back at some point. I know it's not a lot of help but about 2 minutes into the video you should be able to see the basic shape/size of it when I've cut the pattern pieces out. Could you try sketching it out onto a piece of waste cotton fabric, making it a bit bigger than you need it to give you some wiggle room if it's the wrong shape? c x

I have a basic bib pattern, I can just add some bump outs on the sides to be able to add the ribbon and then go ahead and turn down the top and thread ribbon thru. But I will keep checking and watching. Thank you

Yes, I'm sorry, we didn't realise at the time how difficult it would be to follow if you're a relatively new crocheter. In hindsight we should've had one camera purely for a close up of my hands but apparently I move about too much when I'm working 😄c x

While these are handy for hobbies, if you lengthen right "arm" of this bag by about a foot and use a tough fabric like denim or leather, it becomes a multi use handbag - one that can be tied (and therefore worn) in a variety of ways

@@liyana_ngel do you mean you cut the bag pieces as whole bags rather than front and back both having two halves? If so I can only suggest you cut down the centre of each and then sew them up leaving a gap for turning. The bag will come out slightly narrower but only by about 1cm, c x

@@liyana_ngel Actually, I was thinking you might get away with just cutting one of the lining pieces in half for turning, but then I re-watched it and remembered that you can't turn the bag through the straps unless it's in two halves. So yes, 2 x lining and 2 x outer, c x

It's not the easiest project to start with. I struggled when I designed it, mainly because of the thumb-hole! Have a look at some of the other demos on the channel, there are loads of simpler ideas, c x

As a complete beginner and literally first project on my very first sewing machine I completed this bit without the triangle flap! I made a standard slip in case because I wanted to make a record cover slip instead. It looks great however I had trouble on the very last edge corners. As a novice this is hard to explain but where you sewed together the triangle, I flipped inside and then tucked under and sewed the straight edge. Is there a way to sew this straight across prior to flipping? Great and easy to follow tutorial!

Do you mean where I top-stitched around the flap and the top of the pocket at the end? If do I sometimes find it tricky too because of the bulk at the corners and often have to turn the fly wheel by hand. You don't actually need to do this step, you can just press it with a hot iron to keep the edges crisp, c x

Yep so instead of doing the triangle envelope shape I just had like an open slip case so no fold over triangle section.

So two rectangles, sewn together on the two short ends, refolded so the top and bottom seam line up, sew down the long sides, leaving a gap in the lining section of one side, turn out through the gap, stitch up the turning gap, push the lining into the outer, press along the top seam and top-stitch if you want, c x
