Very similar to my grandmother’s fruitcake. She didn’t use apricots. She used dark raisins, golden raisins, citron, candies red and green cherries, and commercial candied fruit mix. Everything else is the same. Our were cooked in large 10 cup tube pans.

as a hispanic i recommend to use flank beef and you cook it well done then you chop it and add onions, cilantro, spicy salsa and a squirt of lime !!
