Wow, this is a fantastic introduction to Eclipse iceoryx! As someone working in robotics, I really appreciate the focus on safety and performance for IPC in autonomous systems. Cool talk! I actually was at FOSDEM that year, but not in the business of compilers back then. I do wonder if there's any hope of retiring TableGen ever, it seems incredibly ad-hoc and convoluted for achieving rather down-to-earth goals. I quite like how SPIR-V is defined simply using JSON for example, maybe the complexity of generating those definitions should be shifted onto the relevant backends ?
