That was more like 5 bucks worth of product on that lid considering its $19.99 for the product and you don't get much.😂 If you look at the bottom of it you can see it's a tiny jar fitted into a larger jar plastic to make the product look like it's more. The camille rose chebe deep conditioning mask packaging is the same. If you were to cut the bottom out to get the "real" container hiding the product inside once you see how small it is you be scratching your head. But the products are great! The curl milk , algae renew deep conditioner, Almond jai Twisting butter, the morrocain conditioner, & the cocoa nibs and honey ultimate strength serum are my favorite OH & the honey Hydrate leave in!!! ❤

Hi, which out of the CR moisture milk and CR aloe whipped butter gel would be better for waves? I need something that mainly moisturisers without frizz and build up. Hold is optional. I’ve tried SM curl enhancing smoothie, it’s great for moisture but too much frizz and over curls hair which isn’t good for wavers. We need something that stretches our curls?
@bripitts12312 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for checking out my video!! Honestly I have no idea, due to lack of experience in the waving department. 😅Both CR products are very light, especially compared to the SM curl smoothie. Moisture Milk is a leave in conditioner, the butter gel a light hold styling cream. Hopefully this helps somewhat in aiding your decision. Thanks again! 😁

Thanks! You reviewed 3 products I will probably buy and try. The ginger rinse stripped my hair with one shampoo, I love the slip and hydration I got from the Algae deep renew deep conditioning mask, for a leave-in the curl love moisture milk was just ok. For a styler, I used the curl maker moisture gel and I was not satisfied. I will probably buy and try the pear conditioner, curlaide or the butter next time.

Thanks for checking out the video. 😊 Glad most of the products have worked out for you. I've heard mixed reviews on the curl maker some love it some say it isn't up to par. I prefer to use it for wash n' gos but I have to make sure I use plenty of water because I get the best results that way. If you try anything else I'd love to hear about it. 💛

Hi. My hair and porosity is like you. You use any gel in the loc? Use you Camille Almond jai with wet hair? I cannot define with cream. I lost definition. I need know about any good good and excelent gel. Camille is better for twists? My problem is when the second day I twist because when I open them, I lost the curl.
@bripitts12313 жыл бұрын
Hey 😁 So I do use Camille Rose in wet hair, it's just my preferred way of usage but I can be used on dry hair as well. Here are a few gels I like. Mielle Organics Curling Custard (some jars say Curl Sculpting Custard, I've used them both and as far as I know they are the same), Camille Rose Curl Maker, I've made my own flaxseed gel. I got my recipe from Naptural85. I love this because you can control the thin or thickness of your gel. I suggest you make a small batch to test if you really like it. If want more use a preservative because it won't last long with out it, or use it all before it goes bad. I suggest Phenonip, it's a natural preservative. All of these gels aren't drying which is why I really like them. However I usually pair these gels with something that has a bit more hold such as Ecoslay Jelloshot or Wetline Extreme Gel, which some say if used alone can be a bit drying. Some other gels I've heard good things about but haven't had a chance to try are Kinky Curly Knot today, Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic, Curls Blueberry Bliss and Alikay Naturals Aloe Berry Styling gel. Hope this helps!! ☺️☺️

got it yesterday...so far I really like the melanin multi use leave in. Getting use to the spearmint smell. Loosens my knots. Detangling wasn’t a pain. The shampoo however, I might return. Not enough lather, scalp&hair didn’t feel clean...had to go in with my regular shampoo on 3rd wash. Will give it another try. I want it to work :( Otherwise I’ll try the texture id shampoo instead based on your recommendation. What’s your favorite shampoo you are currently using?

Glad to hear you like the multi use leave in!The shampoo is the only product I haven't tried yet. sorry it hasn't met your expectations. :( here a few shampoos I like: Camille Rose Ginger Rinse, Carols Daughter Wash Day Delight w/ Aloe (I must warn you tho, this is stripping and I got it for that reason, when I want a really good cleanse and surprisingly it makes my curls pop) Texture ID Curls ( this one helps my hair stay tangle free better than the original), I recently tried Shea moisture Manuka Honey shampoo and I really enjoyed it. Hope this helps 😊

Do you use a oil to seal the hair?
@bripitts12313 жыл бұрын
You can, depends on the method you'd like to use. For example I used the LCO method. L=Liquid (usually water)/Leave In (conditioner) C=Cream (styling cream or hair butter) O=Oil (I prefer a thicker oil like Jamaican Black Castor Oil mixed with a few others ) Some prefer to use the same method just in a different order LOC (the Oil in this method usually tends to be thinner like Argan oil ). Overall depends on what your hair likes and your hair porosity. Porosity usually plays a major role in how your hair responds to product. The main goal is to slow down moisture loss in the hair, so you just may find a completely different method that works for you. Hope this helps ☺️💕

Quick tip for any low porosity hair types out there, after styling put on a plastic cap & sit under a hooded dryer the same way you would for a deep conditioner 😁
@bripitts12313 жыл бұрын
Never tried this but I'm definitely willing to give it a shot. I don't have a hooded dryer, would love to get one though. You think it would work that same for the things you put on your head and connect to the dryer? I know hooded dryers come in clutch, especially for setting styles and cutting down on dry time. Thank for the tip 😊
@fayejohnson32413 жыл бұрын
@@bripitts1231 yes! That’s actually what I use myself lol I just can’t seem to commit to buying an actual hooded dryer yet

Yes my hair was soft for days by doing that
@iaaeottg212 жыл бұрын
I use a plastic cap and scarf every night right before bedtime and leave in overnight. I do this every single night. It helps the products to penetrate the hair shaft due to the extra moisture from the scalp and wearing the plastic cap. No need to sit under a hooded dryer for me lol.
