I prefer to use it for wash n' gos but I have to make sure I use plenty of water because I get the best results that way. If you try anything else I'd love to hear about it. 💛

It just sat on top of my hair 😩. Even with heat . Then there was no slip and my hair just didn’t feel good afterwards

Hey 😁 So I do use Camille Rose in wet hair, it's just my preferred way of usage but I can be used on dry hair as well. Here are a few gels I like. Mielle Organics Curling Custard (some jars say Curl Sculpting Custard, I've used them both and as far as I know they are the same), Camille Rose Curl Maker, I've made my own flaxseed gel. I got my recipe from Naptural85. I love this because you can control the thin or thickness of your gel. I suggest you make a small batch to test if you really like it. If want more use a preservative because it won't last long with out it, or use it all before it goes bad. I suggest Phenonip, it's a natural preservative. All of these gels aren't drying which is why I really like them. However I usually pair these gels with something that has a bit more hold such as Ecoslay Jelloshot or Wetline Extreme Gel, which some say if used alone can be a bit drying. Some other gels I've heard good things about but haven't had a chance to try are Kinky Curly Knot today, Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic, Curls Blueberry Bliss and Alikay Naturals Aloe Berry Styling gel. Mix gel(olive or argan) with shea butter, agave and any essential oil. It is very good for twists. I love twist ourñt with dry hair. Thank you. I like try your recommendations. I used with my short hair Mielle coil custard.

lol.......maybe...... 👀😂 yeah they are! Shea Moisture definitely had some strong smells, I personally did enjoy this line's. But if you don't like overpowering smells that wouldn't be high on my suggestion list.

got it yesterday...so far I really like the melanin multi use leave in. Getting use to the spearmint smell. Loosens my knots. Detangling wasn’t a pain. The shampoo however, I might return. Not enough lather, scalp&hair didn’t feel clean...had to go in with my regular shampoo on 3rd wash. Will give it another try. I want it to work :( Otherwise I’ll try the texture id shampoo instead based on your recommendation. What’s your favorite shampoo you are currently using?

Glad to hear you like the multi use leave in!The shampoo is the only product I haven't tried yet. sorry it hasn't met your expectations. :( here a few shampoos I like: Camille Rose Ginger Rinse, Carols Daughter Wash Day Delight w/ Aloe (I must warn you tho, this is stripping and I got it for that reason, when I want a really good cleanse and surprisingly it makes my curls pop) Texture ID Curls ( this one helps my hair stay tangle free better than the original), I recently tried Shea moisture Manuka Honey shampoo and I really enjoyed it. Hope this helps 😊

You can, depends on the method you'd like to use. For example I used the LCO method. L=Liquid (usually water)/Leave In (conditioner) C=Cream (styling cream or hair butter) O=Oil (I prefer a thicker oil like Jamaican Black Castor Oil mixed with a few others ) Some prefer to use the same method just in a different order LOC (the Oil in this method usually tends to be thinner like Argan oil ). Overall depends on what your hair likes and your hair porosity. Porosity usually plays a major role in how your hair responds to product. The main goal is to slow down moisture loss in the hair, so you just may find a completely different method that works for you. Hope this helps ☺️💕

@@bripitts1231 I like both of them they are super moisturizing, the curl setter is a little bit lighter then the curlaide, I put an oil on top and have 7 days of moisturized hair.

Never tried this but I'm definitely willing to give it a shot. I don't have a hooded dryer, would love to get one though. You think it would work that same for the things you put on your head and connect to the dryer? I know hooded dryers come in clutch, especially for setting styles and cutting down on dry time. Thank for the tip 😊

I use a plastic cap and scarf every night right before bedtime and leave in overnight. I do this every single night. It helps the products to penetrate the hair shaft due to the extra moisture from the scalp and wearing the plastic cap. No need to sit under a hooded dryer for me lol.
