Very good Terrence. I was a bit sceptical at first, after trying your method it works perfectly.. I’ve been planting bulbs in soil direct and waiting for them to shoot, where is within three days. I’ve got excellent result appreciate thanks for your video. Really helpful. Keep up the good work kind regards. 👍

Extremely inventive low tech builds with incredible yields! Awesome work and great relaxing tunes to watch your craft to! :) With your 2nd method with rice husks and hanging bottles, I pondered if you could combine it, in the upper part of the bottle soil, with a top fruiting mushroom species like King Oyster grain spawn in the same bottles? Just for a laugh to see what happens. You'd need a different wick based watering system feeding down into the lower bottle soil to feed the plant though, without over watering the mushrooms on the top layer. Could be a fun experiment or just a disaster in the making! ;) Great video though. Thanks from UK :)

Can you grow Zucchini the same method
@user-ls3bs8zd1g

Cucumbers and squash (zucchini is a type of squash) are in the same family. However, I think squash is, in general, a ground-covering vine rather than a climbing vine. If you can get them to climb and can support the fruit (it is heavier), you should be able to do so.
