Why do all of these iPhone ProRes log scenes look about 2 stops under? I’ve yet to see one on YT that looks properly exposed.

Yeah I think to balance it people say to over expose but I’m usually getting such quick shots I forget to do this

Wow, your monthly videos look really great, I first thought they were taken by bmpcc! I’m all the time in hesitations in between the cinematic quality and size/weight/ usability of equipment in travel. I use fuji xt3 and stab, the picture quality is fantastic for me, I love smooth image and hate oversharpening, but my way of getting this is so bulky. So looking at your videos I’m starting to think of iphone 15 pro max in prores log as alternative for my setup. In your case it looks really awesome, just like I love.

Yeah I think the iPhones are incredible for camera quality and ease of use, I still use my Sony A7iii but that’s more photography and use the iPhone for video

Never heard of lumafushion - is it similar to dehancer and can it be used to edit on the iPhone? Also, do you use ND?

Lumafushion is an editing software which I think is free (it was when I got it a few years ago) very easy to use and I use it on the iPad Air, not sure it can be used for iPhones though. No ND’s used, I just shoot iPhone 15 Pro Max in ProRes format

Yeah agreed there are a couple of stutter bits and think the same. The slowing down the video didn’t make it any better but less noticeable
