Btw, yes you do need a laptop to submit assignments and exams (some classes may require quizzes to be submitted online, since after covid many college classes have been more reliant on using laptops) I recommend getting a Microsoft surface book since you would prefer writing pen and paper too. I feel like some classes usually I would need to type the notes down as professors talk way too fast for pen and paper.

just know that you’re not alone. i’m not too sure what it’s like in America but if you can I would recommend going to a separate doctor and getting a second consult regarding your back. It sounds like there is an injury there and you could have a pinched nerve or an flamed disc etc. Which can cause you back pain. I know that that doctor is the workers Comp doctor but if he is not giving you the answers I would seek a second opinion for sure. It sounds like they’re avoiding paying you some compensation here. Which is not right. If the second doctor says yes, you have a herniated disc etc then you can take that information to the workers Comp doctor as evidence. You should be receiving workers Comp if you did this on the job. I hope all goes well and sending you positive vibes. It’s hard out here at the moment I get it. Yourself every now and then and I find nature can really help. Also allow yourself to rest when you need to.
