Used to use this. Now I just put a piece of tape over the strike and close the door/throw the bolt. Not too hard, just enough to indent the tape.

Why is the Yale access not available in some countries? If I'm vacationing this would be worthless. You need to update your app. Currently I'm in the Philippines and Google playstore shows Yale Access is not available in this country. I tried downloading an APK and it still doesn't work.

I did this a dozen times and it seems to work but when I try to enter master pin to program a user PIN it just triggers the One Touch Locking feature.

Does this apply for the HomeKit module?

I'm not able to register a new Assure lock 2, the app just says: "We've encountered a server error - please try again". Been hours and going around in circles with no way to program the lock so it's worse than the dumb lock I removed to fit this. 😕

I wish they could make a better deadbolt. I am installing one now and notice that there is gap between deadbolt and barrel. Compare to schlage dealbolt, Yale could have done better job

This video helped me in a pinch! It's almost 11pm in MD in the winter, and we just moved from OH. Kept our Yale/Nest lock and discovered that the cutout was further inward than the old door. I remembered that it could be extended, but couldn't remember how to do it and the instructions are long gone. Thanks for your help!

Make sure you have the key in hand, it locks when it closes. Think it’s about 15 seconds delay. I forgot my key and the code so I was locked out. 😅

I try to install my Yale assure lock but it’s not right because the pin pad inside the house if I want the pin pad outside it’s not working the motor in the lock turn wrong way it can turn right way with pin pad outside it need to install upside down I can’t figure out how to install pin pad outside house and working.. can someone help me ?
