You said it won't go 250km on one charge, it should do way more than that?

I went on this very popular train recently, on 21st January to be precise. It was a great thrill as we went from Blenheim to Picton and back. I am used to seeing British preserved steam locomotives, as I live on the UK. This was something different with plenty of sound effects. 608 was surprisingly good on the acceleration and chugged along at a merry speed. I liked the red carriages especially. They are wooden and painted red with a balcony at each end, giving them quite an American look. The whistle on the engine is definitely not British! US railroad influence there. Lovely to see so many young families on board and young children taking it all in. My grandchildren loved it. Carry on the good work. PS Not so keen on the loud music blaring out of each carriage. Hard to hear the very good commentary that the girl gave. We were going to go to Seddon that day, but as the fire risk was very high , it was wisely decided to go to Picton instead. That actually suited us very well ,because last year we went south from Blenheim to 😗 Christchurch and missed the journey from Picton to Blenheim. Now we have covered it all! Highly recommended for families and rail enthusiasts alike.

I absolutely love Will Martin! His music and personality are amazing! Hopefully he will get to come to the USA and perform! That would be awesome!

How to open center front light line?

The mobile taking up lots of screen makes this very distracting, especially when you are taking about something nearby... that we can't see because of the phone.

Was this trip done on a 60kwh version? Looks like some high wh consumption for a 230km trip. Could be the hills?

How many kilometer does it do with full charge? On motorways and in city?

Beautiful road trip. I'm a couple of months away from picking up my Atto3. Went for a test drive the other day and had a moment where there was a big thud, like the suspension bottomed out. Have you experienced anything like that? How have you found the suspension when going over potholes and rough roads?

On a DC fast charger does your car charge to 100% or it stops at a lower level like 95% on the DC ones?

Nice road trip in the Atto 3 Ross. We just bought a ski white one just like yours and will be driving from home in Christchurch to Arrowtown at some stagel soon. Good demonstration of how to do it.

Nice. How comfortable was ur ride in BYD as its around 500km 6hrs trip ? How much u pay for ur first charge from 35% to 99%. Did u use heater or cooling ? Thanks

I see on page 90/91 of the Australian manual they describe adjusting the available range display from ‘standard’ presumably the 480 km NEDC to ‘dynamic’ which compensates for previous range achieved , modes engaged , air con status, etc. I don’t have my car yet but this would seem to be a feature owners should have a look at to help with longer drives and real world conditions. Not as sophisticated as Tesla but might be useful… assuming it’s there! Great video as usual

Hey Ross, One question mate. It has hill descend assist but doesn't mention anything about hill start assist. Does the car support hill start as well?

Hey Ross, why you still have your mobile screen on your right for navigation when you already bought a 12” large screen on your left ? Is the 12” screen not useful / practical for navigation? Was it too low down from your line of sight? How was the Regen braking system functioning, was it effective going downhill or did you have to use the brakes often?

Have you ever tried Atto 3's Vtol (Vehicle to Load) function (2200Watt)? It can be used to power a grill pan when you are on camping. Or power an electric pressure washer and wash itself when close to some water source.
