Not the case with mine I’ve had mine for about 3 weeks still straight in the middle, with very little play. I’m impressed with the cheap Chinese knife thus far don’t let this video discourage you from trying it out!

I have the presidio II mini and it is tough as nails. I do believe the Presidio line does not get enough love imo 🤔

Had the same problem, along with terrible lock stick with the exact same knife. Hopefully taking it apart and cleaning it today will alleviate the issue.

Have you seen how they test knifes locks at benchmade...everyone thinks hes abusing the knife.Itll handle a ton of pressure before that lock fails

Doing what he is doing is what the knife is supposed to be able to handle.Hes doing it in wood and even has a pad.These knifes are bullet proof if you use them like your supposed to.But even if you pry,or abuse them and they break they have the best warranty and customer service that ive ever dealt with.Worth the price every time!!!

Which knife do you recommend similar to mini adamas?

My full size Adamas 275 does the same shit. Is there a fix to it? heavier springs or modify the lock surface of the blade?

#3 open and close just with a pull of the lock and a flick.

it's kinda sad that nobody ever mentions the turret, that knife is a tank as well and can take a beating👍

why can't they just make a regular mini adamas with magnacut? this fancy version with the marble cf and the kitschy hardware doesn't fit the style at all.

Just checked my (original) auto ADAMAS and it won't do that, so if it's an issue it's only in the old manuals.

I love knives, I collect them, and own so many I'm not even sure how many I have at this point. And while cheap--or better to say "inexpensive"-- knives can be great, I don't necessarily have a problem dropping a fair bit of money on a custom piece or a cool production model. I have rolls full of Microtechs, Spydercos, Kizers, Pro-Techs, Kershaws, Mcustas, Cold Steels, Tops, Bokers, Bestechs, Piranhas, Guardian Tacticals, a couple production Striders, a few Emersons, and all kinds of single pieces from various companies and makers. But I don't own any Benchmades. Not a single one. I've handled many of their models at the local knife shop, and I've been close buying a few of them, but I just never go through with it because with Benchmade it always seems like they're priced too high for what you get. For example, that Bugout in the video has carbon fiber scales and an S90V blade, but it retails for almost $300. That's just too damn much for knife with a three and a quarter inch blade. Or the famous otf Infidel: it has a great action and a long blade, but that blade is D2, and $450 is just too pricey for D2 steel even in an otf. You can get a Microtech Combat Troodon for a few bucks more, and it will have an M390 blade. Nothing against the Benchmade fans. I'm sure I'll pick up a Griptillian one day if they ever get the one I want back in stock.

Dude I've been over benchmades for about 10 yrs they are super hyped. I carry a good Kershaw that was 40 bucks or so. I accidentally dropped it in my chicken coop and didn't find it for a year or so. I found it after a heavy rain, washed it threw it in the dishwasher and it would split paper after a year in the dirt.

had a ZT folder with a similar problem once, very disappointing. I'd never buy a benchmade despite their reputation for quality, I won't support anti gun companies period
