The land is going up so fast because foreign countries are buying up the land, and driving up the price. Todan it takes 5 to 10 lifetimes to pay for the land to have a ranch. This is a very bad thing for Americans. The reason I like Texas is if you buy a ranch you own all the land. The state and BLM doesn't own most of a big portion of your ranch, and Oklahoma of many other States in the east are like that. Also you can have a cow every 2 to 3 acres in East Texas not West Texas. The dry line goes through the Heart of Texas and Oklahoma.

Wow. 15 or 20 head. That's a lot to lose. Sounds like you need to change the way you keep an eye on your cow's.

The end segment where the guy was getting frustrated with his prized horse, blessed with all the best equipment. Yet he lets the situation get the best of his emotions. You either love it or you dont

Y'all lose 3 times as many cattle as the next jn line on KZbin. Public grazing most of the year . Quit whining why is my 1lb steak $22??? Calves usually die from neglect and lack of concern because you're profit is too high. Imo

Nothing better than being horseback in wide open spaces. I have hugh respect for ranchers and cowboys it's a hard life they choose but it what they love. Great glimpse into your ranch world.

The "epic" music tried their best to cover the high-stress environment they created for everyone in the coral in the first half of this episode. But couldn't. As animal experts you should be able to find different ways of handling your cows and calves, don't you think? They are sentient beings, too.

Please don't treat your horse like that. Its mouth is super sensitive, you shouldn't pull on it like that.

if you're such an animal person, why would you let 1 mama cow plus a baby die? It's part of the business? Perhaps you need more help.

You need to do something really different if you’re losing that many cows! Maybe consider your culling routine or vet program but that’s no way to stay in business

Don't care for the way you treat your horse. If you were a horseman you'd have a better understanding of thinking like a horse. You should read the web site by that name.

After the truck company loaded the wrong steers for market when dad told us to tell the driver to take the cattle from the south pasture NOT the north pasture.
