Thank you so much for the video, but can you kindly explain what columns to place the values in? For example at 8:10, u placed the value for purchases in the left column and the value for opening balance in the center column. Can you tell me how to decide which column to place the values on and why?

Hi , I had a question that the trade discount is only applicable on the sale of a good and is not applicable when the same goods are returned back as for the sales return the actual amount shall be recorded. So why did we apply the trade discount again when the goods were returned back?

Sir, I've a question. Another teacher who was explaining the profit statement and costing statement said that variable selling & distribution and variable admin overheads are treated as period costs and only variable production overheads fall under product costs. However, you said variable production overheads, variable selling and distribution overheads and variable admin overheads all are included under product costs. Which one is true sir? And why is it true from what she said and what you said?

Sir you are lying. We didn't look at the applications involved in absorption costing. We only looked at the concepts in absorption costing and I tried looking for the videos to find the application of absorption costing on this channel but there was none. Hence, I say you are lying.
