Maddux won more golden gloves than any player ever, at any position. His fastball was among the slowest in the league so thinking he was using steroids is hilarious.

"Maddux would've been higher on the list except for the fact that he played in the steroid era?" That doesn't make sense. He no question that he faced countless steroid-abusing batter during most of his career, right? So, doesn't it make sense to place him higher on the list? The only reason to place him lower would be because he was suspected of taking steroids. He wasn't.

Nolan Ryan is not one of the top 10 pitchers in MLB history. At his best he was great, with 7 no-hitters, and of course he leads in career strikeouts. But he also had 8 losing seasons, and lost nearly 300 games in his career, with just a .526 career winning percentage. A great pitcher, but not top 10 all time.
