So, that place has no gate, like 1140 does, and I assume it's because there’s a parking pad just to the south. I've seen a photo where the band is standing in a garage entry on a building that looks like this. Street view lets you go almost all the way around back, and I can't see any traits that match. Granted, it's over 40 years old, but I think it's definitely 1140. Would love to see around back of this building, since it's accessible.

LA is not so unique anymore... sadly the Catalina and the Baked Potato and the Mambo is really all thats left...NYC has a much better jazz scene.

People saying Brock sounds like Morrison must never heard the doors live. He sounds ok but not near Morrison. Brock also butchered this song. He forgot lyrics and is goin forward and backwards with lines. He’s all over the place. Killed the vibe. I’ve seen Brock live at the whiskey and I wasn’t impressed. They’re better singers in other tribute bands.

Didn’t see a Valentino movie until I was in my thirties. Have never been infatuated with entertainers. Wow. Changed my mind. It was his European manners and good looks that I saw first and then I fell in love with silent films. Thanked God for the brief time he was here.

The video transitions are so irritating, and the pacing is so hurried. it’s sad that this is what content producers think will keep our attention.

This is very good but not sure about the Hammond sample on a Roland when you have a Vox sitting there.

My first time in LA I ditched everybody and walked to the motley house and had a beer outside of it. So much history in these towns it’s crazy. It’s nice to sit back and think and appreciate it

Love historic stuff on Hollywood like this!! I was a young teen hanging around Hollywood in the 80s so this stuff really hits home especially when I learn about places like this that I never knew existed but had to have walked by many times..

Thank you for the background info. I've always wondered what inspired Leia's hairdo. Now we know, thanks to the LA Woman. Looking at her hair, I'm now curious how it looked when her space buns were undone. Heatless overnight curls? it sure looks like some of the contraptions we use now to wake up with pretty hair. In a hair tutorial, far, far away...... ha ha!
