Hey! I recently got this game on my 2024 g14 (same as yours but only 16gb of ram) but it keeps crashing pretty much right when I load into the intro cutscenes (farthest I got was the 4th scene). Have you had any crashes like this? I'm wondering if a recent update is leading to this happening so if you could test that would be great! Also could you drop the settings you use in game? (ps i dont think the lower ram would be an issue as the recommened specs on steam says 16 gb)

hey, been playing the game for a week haven't gone through any kind of crash yet but i do get sometimes the glitched textures on the ground apart from that i am playing this on ROG's ultimate mode as for the settings they are there at 14:16 in the video

i think this should be called as intrusion prevention systerm (ips) because it's blocking the unauth access instead of detecting and monitoring it

How much fps can I get if I have 8 GB RAM in red dead 2 ? ( I got the same specs but instead of 16 gb ram i have 8 gb ram)

Not much difference actually. if you play it on my game settings expect 30 to 35 fps ( and the settings are better than what consoles offer) after installing 16gb though you would get 40+ and in some areas it reaches 50+ specailly closed areas.

Did so and well the average fps you get is 41 Max was 50 Min was 36 (during an explosion) Also yeh its running on vulkan with vsync turned on as there was screen tearing

Switch to nvidia studio drivers they are stable

I think the issue is caused by the latest Nvidia game ready driver. I changed to studio driver and now I don't have this issue anymore.

@rani green Open nvidia geforce experience -> go to drivers tab -> click 3 dots in top right -> choose studio driver. It should start downloading the studio driver and then install.
