Hi, thanks for your videos. Our inventory was uploaded without prices ($0), but now we need to massively update these prices to one unique price ($300) for each item without affecting the actual data.

The biggest problem I had with Fishbowl were the lies I was told concerning their capabilities. After wasting months of time they admitted the program could not do what they said it could when they tricked us into signing up. They then started to hang up on us when we called and ignoring emails. Terrible customer service, disreputable company, waste of time and money. If only they had been honest about what the software can and can not do. If only they had admitted their mistake. Now we are expected to pay another $25,000 for a program that never did what they said it could do. The integration period is expected to take 6 to 8 weeks but the refund period is only 30 days. GET IT ALL IN WRITTING AND DON'T LET THEM PUSH YOU PAST THE REFUND PERIOD. DO NOT TRUST FISHBOWL INVENTORY!

My company deals with fiber optic cable reels. We need a way to, not only track the type of cable on each reel, but the amount of cable left on the reel. I was hoping i could create a part number in Fishbowl for the type of cable and then use serial numbers to track the individual reels. My question then is, can i record the quantity of cable left on an individual reel or do all serial numbers have an unmodifiable number of 1? Example: I have a 20,000 foot reel of 144 strand fiber. I use 7000 feet on a job and 13,000 feet is left on the reel and returned to the yard. Can I assign 7000feet of that serialed reel to the job number and the remaining 13,000 feet remain in the yard with the same serial number?

Thanks for the great video. I am dumping QB desktop after 20 years at the end of 2023. I am currently using QB Desktop pro 2022. I can export my customer data ok into excel by setting up custom memorized reports, but it will not pull the customers entire credit card number. It only pulls the last 4 numbers. Like this xxxxxxxxxxxx1234. i have almost 15,000 customers. Which means I will have to have all my customers re-submit their credit cards on their next order. Will your method allow me to pull the entire credit card number? Thanks for your help.

Great video Lance, I am the Purchasing and Inventory manager for a retail order fulfillment company. We run into quantity discounts, free shipping if we order x dollars of product etc. , that affect the quantity we need to buy. Is there any way that we set PO rules for Vendors in fishbowl? For example: Always order over $1000 worth of product from this vendor, or Always order in quantity intervals of 6 (6-12-18)
