i used to run a local snow plow in the late 70's . never saw that V shaped plow before. i think it is better than straight blade. thanks for the video

Had maybe been a good use for a Landin Duo Plow. Search and watch it on YT. Really incredible in this circumstances on forrest roads. See the long vertical tip in front to widening. Have also a bucket attached for cleaning! Made in north Sweden. ❤

That path looks like it was pre-plowed before this plowing. Judging from how hard the Volvo L60h is working, I'd say that it would not have "a snowball's chance in hell" in getting through this time.

Your loader is a bit light. I've plowed with many loaders and a 950 cat is a very good combination of weight and power, but the best I ever had was a WA 380 dash 7 Komatsu. An absolute unit with the proper tires😮. There is very little Volvo equipment in my part of Canada but they seem to be catching on slowly

Eventually the roadway gets narrower and narrower because the snow falls back down behind the plow. Snow can only be piled as high as the plow blade height. Ideally if you had another unit with a blower that would be the ticket. Also with unpaved roads either dirt or gravel it’s easier to keep the blade about an inch above the ground or even let it bounce up and down a bit. I plowed snow in cities and the country for about 30 years and learned little tips and tricks along the way. Been retired now almost 20 yrs and actually miss doing it.

I think you would have an easier time with plowing in deep snow if you turned your boom suspension off…not really supposed to have it on when you are plowing snow…
