Awesome video. Awesome build. This is the first water feature video that I have watched all the way through. You made something that pretty much anyone can build. I am very curious about your shovel. What is it called? Where can it be purchased?

My father is an AirCon/Heating engineer who worked for very large company complexes and military bases, but I sent him your video... he thought you did very well, he only made one critique: Evacuating the air in the tubing: The guy in the video used some kind of a hand pump to take the air out of the copper lines. I strongly suggest that you do not use this process. When air gets inside of copper tubing it has moisture in it and moisture has been the death to many of air conditioning systems. It's very important that the moisture be taken out of the lines. They have to be evacuated properly or they will have moisture in them. I strongly suggest the use of a vacuum pump, in the states they cost about $100. I also strongly suggest the use of a manifold gauge, in the states they cost about $60.00. In the long run that money will be well spent. You will also need a conversion adapter to attach the manifold gauge to the valve on the condenser system, about $15. I suggest that the vacuum pump be run overnight, or at least 6 to 8 hours. The longer the better, also once you have the lines evacuated and you shut the valves off on the system to the manifold gauge, then and only then open the freon valves on the condensing unit. That will let the freon run through the lines. You do not want to open the freon lines while you have the manifold gauge attached, because you will have a certain amount of freon in the hose of the manifold gauge and you will lose that amount of freon. If I were there I would put in a dryer in the liquid line. But if due diligents is used as I said above that would be over kill and maybe not necessary. One other thing, when you are taking the caps off of the copper lines to attach them to the outside unit valves do not leave those lines open any longer than you absolutely have to, just pop those plastic caps off and stick them on the valve and tighten them up as quick as you can. This will allow the least amount of air and moisture into the copper lines. Final Leak check: After you pull a vacuum on the system and before you allow freon to go into the copper lines, turn off the pump and watch the manifold gauge and see if you lose any of your vacuum. If the needle on a gauge goes up towards 0 from a vacuum, then you have a leak and you'll have to find where that is and fix it, Usually in a connection. After you take the manifold gauge off and open the valves to let the freon flow, you should get some soapy water and check all your connections and make sure that they're not leaking after you put pressure on them.

I don't know about there..but here you cannot lean the roof so the water will drop into your neighbour yard. The water drop from the rain must drop inside your property.. not in the neighbour property. Use some gutter system to divert the water into your property. It is not nice of you to let it like this. And use Rafters on your roof if you have snow in your area in the winter.. otherwise you will endup with your roof colapsing under the weight of the snow.

Improvements would be to change the outer shape of the water feature so it doesn't look like a big hot dog bun. More irregular shaping would help. I also thought the volume of water could be upped a bit.

Obrigado.:

Algae is not bad for a pond unless it has no predation and unlimited nutrients. Algae produces oxygen during photosynthesis, food for herbivore fish, home for smaller beneficial organisms which also become fish food, and great beds for fish eggs to name a few benefits. The goldfish in the pond I dug keep the algae in check by grazing, and the other plants keep a limit on the available nutrients. My pond has no liner or pump and is a great home for the fish and frogs that have showed up.

Oh man just let us pro handle it.😂 its not for nothing we learned for it. That hand pump doesnt tell you any pressure related issues etc leaks etc. You need to keep the auto pump commected at least 30mins or longer to find any leaks. Yes it can work but your taking a lot of risk. The end ductape and stuff oh my thats so bad 😂you should have a nice cover for the ac unit place that back first. Then buy some hard plastic U shape plates and cover it good up. If you use tape use isolation tape😂 not ducktape😂 i would rip this thing right of the wall

I bought an insulated 1/4-1/2 inch tubeset of 3 m. The insulation is molted together and both tubes have the same lenght. In the indoor unit the 1/4 inch is about 20 cm longer as the 1/2 inch. I can pull the 1/4 inch tube through the insulationfoam, but after it will be longer at the outdoor unit side and this is giving a conflict. I wonder in your video the outdoor side has properly the same lenght. Do you have a tubeset with 20 cm correction or so? Do you know how to solve this without flare connection tools?

U don't need to put the lines on the left it depends on the location of the outdoor unit or the inside unit in this situation.
