How could've the Vikings (King Sigurd) have met with Templars when the Templar Order didn't exist yet , and wouldn't come into existence for another 29 years ? ... The timelines don't match up , the Vikings (King Sigurd) arrived in Holy land in 1110 AD , and departed in late 1110 , or early 1111 AD ... the Order of the Knights Templar wasn't created yet ,.. the Order of Poor Soldiers of Christ, wasn't founded till 1119 AD , and the Official Order of the Knights Templar, didn't come into existence till the year 1139 AD , per the Pope's decree ; Omne datum optimum ... There is no mention in the historical records of any Viking remaining in the Holy Land... Historical records indicate that the Vikings left the Holy Land and sailed across the Mediterranean to Constantinople ( Modern day , Istanbul Turkey) ... And before leaving Constantinople , King Sigurd gave all of his ships and many treasures away to Emperor Alexios. In return, the emperor gave him many strong horses for him and his entourage Sigurd planned to return to Norway over land, but many of his men stayed behind in Constantinople to serve the emperor as part of his 'Varangian Guard' The trip took awhile , and he visited many countries en route. Sigurd traveled from Serbia and Bulgaria through Hungary, Pannonia, Swabia, and Bavaria, where he met with the Emperor Lothar II of the Holy Roman Empire. He later arrived in Denmark, where he was greeted by King Niels of Denmark, who eventually gave him a ship to sail to Norway ...

Yes! 100% agree. This is why Alex seems to be a little skeptical this season.

one of my favorite tropes is when they make up experts with fancy titles. in oak island they have a metal detectorist expert. or forensic geologist in America unearthed.

Lost interest in the show over the years they’ve never really found anything of significance and it’s looking more and more like more than likely they never will🤷🏻♂️😵💫

Having visited the interpretation center and toured the island, I saw tons of significant things. There was a large amount of ancient industry on this island. Why?

In order to be a "debunker" you have to have credentials. You don't, in fact even your grammar and pronunciation is very poor. Best to educate yourself before trying to educate others.

Oak island was a dry dock to repair and maintain ship bottoms, the money pit and all the flood tunnels were to drain the swamp, the gravel road was for workers so they weren't walking in mud....those ships had so much growth on them after a year or 2 it had to be addressed......no treasure there whatsoever

Pretty much how the production handles this whole show.

Oak Island the amazing never-ending story somebody must be making big money off of this thing it's boring.

They find a lot of WOOD and History makes money off of them. The story is pretty "shaggy dog" and it's looking more and more like there is nothing much there, but it's the bets produced of these shows.
