absolutely amazing, just a few tips that might help you hit those higher notes above the A try to move the mouthpiece just a little higher up and really focus on keep the corners of your lips closed but absolutely amazing otherwise your not puffing your cheeks out and you have an amazing tone good work

Amazing cover, lovely (and almost impossible to me now) use of left-hand as well. How did you manage to develop such a control with that?
@supermilesio503511 күн бұрын
It definitely took some practice. I've been working on the technique for the past few months on a mini guitar tuned the same way. I've been playing finger-style guitar for many years though, so I'm sure that gave me somewhat of a head start. Like anything else, just start really slow and work up to speed! I listened to a few specific licks from Jacob and learned to play those, and that helped me figure out how to come up with my own

Wow! It’s hard to believe that rich bass voice comes from that sweet little boy’s body! And if he sings the other three voices, he should be a recording artist! 🤩🤩🤩

What a brilliant take on this song, that was tremendous - well done! I liked how you slowed it down slightly and voiced the guitar to suit the calmer intro. Your voice is ridiculously clear and agile and your choices for dynamics were lovely - delicate and powerful at the same time and feels completely sincere, so it made it a real joy to hear you sing and navigate the melodies. Especially from 2:21 on - the back half of this song is one of my favourites to either sing or heard sung and it suits your voice perfectly :) I play in DADGAD mainly (and not on a JCSM-5, my jealousy is off the charts!) - so had to work out some adjustments (same with Little Blue etc) but yeah it's a really satisfying song to learn and play - and you've done it more than justice here, massive respect :)

This is EXCEPTIONALLY well done my friend. You've perfectly encapsulated how Jacob would cover this song. Like it's crazy how good this is. No simple feat too, this must have taken ages to record and put together. Keep going like that and you'll go far, rooting for you!

This is so good, just as good as Jacob Collier, but I thought you transitioned from G to G half sharp way better then he did. Just incredible, keep it up and keep up the art of music because if you keep going you could make it in music.

You may have noticed my "goatee"; I am growing it out for the holidays. Let's see if I can make it to Christmas! Also, the small mark in the corner of my left eye is a scar from an eye surgery I had about a month ago. It's healing up nicely and I'm already noticing significant improvement, but that pesky scar might stick around for a while. Finally, let me know if you catch any of the motifs I've sprinkled in this video. It's pretty clear that this whole arrangement is very Jacobian in nature, and especially reminiscent of "Pure Imagination", but I'd love to hear which moments in particular stand out to you. You may also hear motifs from a few familiar holiday tunes. Listen away, and Happy Holidays!

@supermilesio5035Ай бұрын
I didn’t use an app; see 12:12 in the video, I had to manually program an Arduino to control the strobe frequency using a potentiometer. There are stroboscope apps, but I haven’t found any that have quick enough bursts to create the proper effect
