Does the boat easily disassemble into three pieces? Where do we find such designs??

Your blurb confused me. Thought it said you were building a boat. Pretty sure I saw a male involved.

How much is all that extra buoyancy (PFD, Suit) helping with this vs a person in normal clothing and gear in the boat?

I replayed this 6 times watching all the little subtle moves. It may seem dumb but I wish he would have done a voice over, discussing it a bit in the editing of the video.

If you leave the cloth long at the sheer, it will catch the drips and keep the floor clean. Trim if off easily later with a utility knife.

Is wood flour sawdust?
@Joeyapwaichong2 жыл бұрын
Sort of, but much finer. You can make your own but using a palm sander with 180 grit or finer grade pads.

Enjoyed this very much. I grew up on the River Murray in Australia and I taught myself to Eskimo roll left and right handed, without a paddle, using an old pair of shoes or just my hands. The awesome thing is, that particular skill for inverting has translated awesomely well into Jiu Jitsu, which I've taken up in my mid forties. My body remembered how. These things stick with you. Kayaking Tasmania in a Pittarak kayak was the highlight of my kayaking life. Planning to retire on a boat, which I'm building, so there's something about the kayaking life and the water which gets in your veins.

Hmm.. You say to sand any drips or runs in the saturation coat. However, I am reading elsewhere that the saturation coat should be tacky OR fully abraded before another coat of epoxy can be applied. I have not seen epoxy applied over a dry coat that has not be abraded fully. So I am confused.
@pygmyboats5 жыл бұрын
In order for epoxy to bond it must have either a chemical or a physical bond. A chemical bond can only be attained within 72 hours of the previous coat. If it has been over 72 hours then you need to sand to create a physical bond.

Having kayaked hardcore for twenty five years I have to say this design does so much well. It surfs quite nicely, is an excellent platform for birding, day tours and fishing yet rolls well enough. Due to its length it is lighter than most designs but can still travel easily with the group. Most of us don't really paddle all that fast on a day trip.
@stefanomoretti36645 жыл бұрын
be sure you don't make it too much of an adventure... Learn kayak skills and dress for water temperature . If capsizing, a fishing line around your body makes it a dangerous thing.
