Terrible manual book

Seems overly complicated for what should be an easy-to-set alarm clock. I got one of these gifted to me (without instructions) for my kid and set up (apart from the time) is not intuitive at all. I'm guessing that's why there's a newer model of this available through the learn & climb store.
