Kdx 200 motor into kx125 chassis. Kx125 swingarm pivot bolt is 2mm bigger diameter

Put pc of pipe inside or over size with a pc of pipe . 100% stronger went welder . 😊

I'd have added a second pipe inside as a backer, then drill some holes in the outer pipe above and below the weld them weld the inner pipe thrre as well for added support. That spot obviously gets excessive stress levels and more support could help.

Weird i only saw one bolt hole guess i am used to work on screws that have a three inch shaft inside with three bolt in each aide of the pin hope it runs straight

Looks smooth, but butting the two pieces end to end... It works but with something that can take TONS of toque, that weld will probably twist out again. Angling was great, but the two conic sections should have fit together, not been the same shape.

Retired pipe weldor here, the beveling is a little too much. This is why there are two passes for the cap. I think his tacking up to the angle was spot on. Also, cleaning between passes was correct. He did right to run stringers. Good job. Looks to be sq. I’d trust this repair for a long time.

2 ways Inner pipe(telescoping) to give it extra strength, then weld Or Two small plates on the outside, cut another pipe in half and weld all around. But ya joining the two will last a bit, it’ll break down the road….
