I've had mine for 10 months now & constantly confused by how different my infotainment is. I've just had the latest upgrade. for instance. I see you can turn the heated seats on from your home screen. I cant do that & need to go into the aircon screen & select from there. I cant get Android auto, Why?

We need to get away from the idea you have to charge at home / office. We have never had petrol stations at home but manage okay although 300 miles minimum per charge would be the least you could probably get away with, ideally 400 to 500 miles and you would be alright without home charging. The biggest problem we find with on-route chargers is the rip off prices, only Tesla seem to be near the mark with 39 pence a unit. I would like to see a kilowatt at around the 21 pence per unit, that's still 3 times the unit cost to the suppliers so more realistic. Snag is the private businesses who own our national grid set the price of electricity against the price of gas which as we all know is astronomically high, we need to decouple electricity from gas but that's not going to happen in the near future, not when there are huge, obscene profits to be made.

Dude! Its just lower price ... because it was bought cheaper . If Toyota is your favourite its on the otherside of the token mate ! Soon demand for ice is low and existing models will hit low price ...except some diesel model.... We must wake up to the new tech ...range is still an issue but new hybrid is almost as efficent to run ....

why would anyone buy an EV? The yearly hire charge is less than depreciation. Lease hire is a no-brainer.

We own (in Thailand) a Atto 3 (1 year, 30,000 km) and a Dolphin (16 months, 38,000 km) and I am quite impressed about the quality of these 2 cars. We owned Mazda cars before (since 2008) and the quality is very close. The infotainment system improved a lot the last months. Most time I use Apple CarPlay which works wireless and seamlessly. The weak points are a little bit the too soft suspension (damping), especially of the Atto 3. The assistance systems (ADAS) are not as smooth as of Mazda and the headlights are also not as good. I especially miss the adaptive headlights. But the BYDs also cost 30% less than the Mazdas…

Our Atto 3 (in Thailand) also has reached 12 months and 30,000 km so far. I very like the space and performance, but less the too soft suspension and the whitish interior. My daily driver is a BYD Dolphin (16 months, 40,000 km). BYD improves the infotainment system constantly and now it is quite good. We got a firmware update and now with Gbox we can install a lot of Android apps. I am not so happy with ADAS which can be very annoying and I and to deactivate some of the features. Also the headlights are not so good - compared to our former Mazda CX-5. The Chinese tires are quite good. BYD Thailand now has changed to Continental tires.

Hi Sean, had my atto 3 since June and had no issues with it until the colder months came… the heating system is useless! It takes an absolute age to get even remotely warm. I’ve got it booked in to have a look at as it seems like something isn’t right to me, just wondered if you have experienced anything similar? Cheers

Hi@callumgoodman7757 Yes, heating and cooling has always been poor in this car. In the summer, mine overheats and winter you need it at 26 c to get any warmth out of it. Please let me know how you get on. Have a great 🎄

I haven't seen many people show such a deep dive so thanks for that. With the split option, can you split the screen so you can have music on one side and the maps on the other? Also the karaoke app with the Christmas theme is a nice touch. Did you need the mic for it?

Does the navigation have the option for Tesla Superchargers 'Non Tesla's?
@Hitstirrer
@Hitstirrer Ай бұрын
Tesla did the right thing from the start by investing millions in the charging structure and making the system seamless as a plug-and-go method. Then, when people could see that they could charge on road trips, they were confident to buy Teslas. Trying the chicken/egg process the other way around was always doomed to fail. Waiting to put infrastructure in once enough cars were sold was just woolly thinking. However, there is now evidence that the situation in the UK will get better soon. This is a map of 591 hubs of at least 6 Rapids that are in planning and awaiting power. www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1lLtXzshhTzZHl5yk4XHOeiVoU3erz6s&ll=52.420366471999884%2C-2.035699209745805&z=7 And that will be on top of the 740 existing hubs of at least 5 Rapids. www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1DOswN-GODssM2XmKV4oQ9r-mkGcbGno&ll=55.6969170449205%2C-3.834510449999965&z=5 Of course there are many places with less than 5 Rapids and thousands with roadside posts delivering 7kW.

Congratulations! 🎉 Your videos are very good and useful. If you have any update regarding the heat pump, that would be great. It is cold now, what I found today, you need to switch AC on and off to make it work, but it doesn't work every time. Maybe we don't know something ...

I have one in Australia - the ac isn't the best but it's definitely better than deacribed here. Sounds like yours has a problem? Mine definitely cools when stationary - I start it remotely and it cools the car down quite effectively, takes a bit longer than other cars I have had but it does work...

I’m in Australia and the ATTO aircon on lowest setting takes ages to cool down to around 10 degrees c at its very lowest vent temp. Good AC should be between 1 and 8 degrees C vent temp I’m told

Yeah the routing on maps was so bad, I set a route that I was happy with for my first long journey (mainly A roads) the system decided to divert me off that onto country roads that were tight and what i wasn’t comfortable with, I set the navigation to not reroute and it still did… I would like it if the speed limit was closer to the drivers side again as it wasn’t updating on the dash correctly so I was relying on the map for it when I was unsure
