The glory days of Weymouth, I lived in poole all my life until 2014 when I moved to Weymouth, it was my favourite place to go as a boy but living here is very different now. So much has changed for the worse so many buildings left to rot, it's all mainly takeaways, clubs, hair and nail salons, tattoo studios and convenience stores. The seafront thankfully is still bliss and you can still feel the history and old times when strolling a long the promenade.

Like the rest of the West Country, it has been annexed by the Home Counties!

Fantastic - 17 at the time, used to cycle to Weymouth College by going along the marina and over the bridge to the Jubilee clock. Memories. Great music too. Thanks for posting!

I love this. Lived in Weymouth myself for a time and my parents still live there. Amazing to think that this was 25 years ago yet so much hasn't changed. Great stuff!

Weymouth looks alot better back then I think. It's just amazing to see what everything was like three years before I was born! Such a different place! Before all of the stupid traffic lights, and blocked, one way roads!

This is great! I made a video (on here) in 1997 called "Welcome to Weymouth" about how shite Weymouth is- and actually it looks really rough in 1987! Much better now, I reckon. Thanks for making this!

Some good video footage and most of the cars on the road were British unlike now were most are german looks like it was a nice bike shame about it getting stolen .
