I think there is more to say about the connection between Torah and rain. The etymology of Torah is connected to Yareh, to shoot. However, the word yareh is usually translated “waters” in Hosea 6:3. “As the latter rains waters (yareh) the earth.” What is rain? Life from above. What is Torah? Life from above. Torah=rain.

The diversity of traditions which evolved through the centuries and which now characteristically defines Judaism and Christianity have roots in Satan veneration which taught the manipulation of elements through demonic aid to achieve an aim.
