I have asthma too. I'm trying to build up my voice again, and being 54 it will take a little more time. You have a beautiful voice. I love singing too, but have become a little bit lazy! LOL!

I'm studying music, main course singing, but since a year or so my throat would hurt every time I'd sing or speak. I stopped taking singing classes and thought I had to quit my studys. Running from one doctor to another, they now found out that I have asthma. I thought my career is over but seeing this gives me hope! Did you have similar symptoms in the past and if yes, how did you manage them? Thanks so much for sharing!

i have asthma too and i sing... i get very breathy and you seem to keep up long notes... how do u do that/control that?

It's a case of breath control. When singing long notes you should not force the air out of our lungs, let it come out naturally, that way the note may be quieter but will last longer.
