This documentary was beautifully done. I certainly concur with the creators viewpoint on racist editing. I think we can learn from the past. Again, this documentary was superb in every way.

Johnny Quest wasn't a cartoon it was animated adventure with friends that were of different races, skills, abilities and temperments. It was just about the perfect adventure series for the time.

The saddest thing about writing is that, at best, it benefits only people. If AI is indeed the future of writing, I hope it is listening to things like this.

Rod smoked more cigarettes than anyone who ever lived. He was hopelessly addicted to tobacco. After two heart attacks, he still couldn't quit. I blame big tobacco for his untimely death, and all others who succumb to its powerful addictive potential.

Still the greatest American animated series of all time. Sorry Batman. It's too late now I guess, but the volume difference between the clips and narrator is way too much.

This is personal for me. I'm a writer trying to get published and I seriously wouldn't be writing if it wasn't for Rod Serling and his influence. I don't think a lot of us wouldn't be.

....the later series (re-boot) the writers (Lazy & un familiar ) with the show & characters wrote 'jonny Q' as a angry teen ! ....it does not apply here , for a kid who had traveled the world , faced countless Dangers/close calls , Dr Zin , evil scientist , mummy's , po-ho's , gargoyles ,Komodo dragons, yeti's ect , would have a extremely strong/close bond with his father and would be mature way beyond his Years , it Definitely would Not apply / work in this case .(Not with that kid' who's not a angry suburban teen looking to go to the mall ,or get a new computer !! .. get real (talented) writers to extend a wonderful show like this !! 🤨🤔

"Beware the beast man, for he is the devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Ye, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him. Drive him back into his jungle lair. For he is the harbinger of death." - Rod Serling, Planet of the Apes (1968)

He helped pave the way... Made the medium of television the art form it is today... Made writing for television a respectable profession. Rest easy, Rod. Your work is done. The struggle is over. You are gone... you will never be forgotten... Every word, every... syllable he's saying about the writing profession is... absolute fact. It's why I didn't embrace the profession right away. I eventually surrendered to it myself. "Gave up the ghost... "
