That is the Jeep Car Settings icon. Inorder for those to work you need to be sure you install the 4XE offroad retention module. I talk about it at 15:50 in this video.

@@lizcortez3564 what does the file look like on the USB. The name and location matters. Also make sure there aren’t other devices plugged into the radios USB. They can cause issues with data transfers.

@@LinksWellInc its a zipped file named px6. thats the only thing on there. brand new formatted usb. nothing else plugged into any usb port.

@@TheDonweld put it into a program like photoshop and make sure it’s exported to the correct perimeters. If it’s a phone picture sometimes when it formats even if it shows vertical it’s formatted digitally horizontal.

@@radumargarint5271 there is no need to do anything with single wires. The install is 100% plug in play. You don’t need to trigger anything. We don’t show it because it isn’t required.

@@LinksWellInc The dealer said it would retain my Jeep features and it has the pages so I'd say yes, they just don't reflect the actual state of the truck. The off0road pages are there on the display

@@gajep71 The pages will show but not respond if the module wasn't installed. I would tell you to contact the dealer and verify that they actually did install the Offroad Retention Module.

And how much data would you think is needed per month?

@@gajep71 the factory app will work just fine outside of tracking the vehicle. Data 100% depends on how much you use and what you use. :/ we have a couple different prepaid plans we can connect you with a rep for. 10 Gigs I think for an average use person would be plenty. If you plan on streaming a ton I would go up from there.

@ watch the video. I explain it. The IMEI on the radio is not going to work anywhere. You need to get the provider to make one up.

@ so it may be a metro issue. We haven’t tested with Metro.

@@johnobregon9091 no. So inside the 12volt platform 5G SIM card chips didn’t exist until just about a couple month ago. Components used in building a 12 volt Android system are special and not your typical Android components. So you can’t use the same parts as a normal tablet or phone uses. We are currently testing the 5G SIM that just came out to try and add it into the Generation 7 platform when we release it end of next year. But there is no way to upgrade the current Gen 6 to anything but what it has. There is a physical change needed not simply a firmware thing.

@@guslovo5900 you can not use this home page. The model number you have is for our LITE T-Style. Meaning is much cheaper and you for go features like downloading new UI’s or launchers. So for the LITE version you are locked into the factory UI.

@@jimr5703 yes. A SIM Card means the radio is always connected to the Internet without the need of a hotspot. Plug in CarPlay is different from wireless CarPlay. Wireless CarPlay and mobile hotspot can not work at the same time.

Are you sure it is our radio? You can use the customer chat on our website and get images sent to our techs for further help getting it figured out. There is a chance it isn't our radio.

@LinksWellInc it says linkswell when it boots up. The interface looks exactly the same as well. How many usb lines should there be? Is it possible the one for phone hookup just wasn't put it/ran to a place I could use it?

@ no. You can not change the Android version. If you change the Android version a bunch of parts will stop working. Things like the Bluetooth chips and other devices are built to only work on the original Android Version. So trying your change that will make other things stop working in the radio itself.
