Hello, I'm using a wing rack. I added a Dante option card today, but it's not recognized, so I can't use it Can you tell me how to ice??? Firmware 3.0 not found

To control different computers, do you have to be plugged in to them or is there a plugin to do it wirelessly? I use a streamdeck for switching but want to use it for more. Great video!

Sorry but you’re just not getting it, your videos are more confusing than helpful. You talk about 48 channels and then you say inputs but then you’re going through this into this kind of software blah blah blah so I got 49 but I’m not using any of the 48 by the time you’re done you ran around the block three times but you said you were going to show how to go around the block once

I get it, you’re trying to help, and I understand buses I do believe and the mains but then you went to the part where the video got screwed. You can put buses and buses into matrix left right mains you can’t do channels but you can do two channels but you could take a bus onto the bus and stick it in the matrix and take a matrix and turn into a buss blah blah blah. Total confusion

Never have seen a video where somebody can break down this whole stereo channel system. Unless I misunderstand the one Fader or shall we say channel 1 has left right capabilities but you would have to plug-in one cable on channel 1 and one on channel 2. so if that is correct if you have to burn two inputs and select stereo , except for only pushing one fader it’s really no different than the X 32, you might as well just push two faders that are linked together, so you don’t really gain channels. If I have that wrong that’s what I’m saying I don’t understand stereo channels nobody has ever explained it to the point where I know for sure in any video I’ve seen on the Internet or article I have read

Got a Wing rack with Dante card. On firmware 3.05. New external card installed. Dante controller not seeing it at all. Can't roll back to firmware v2 as it's unavailable for the rack. Any ideas?

I copied my Wing Edit's Library folder to a USB drive, and plugged it into my Wing Rack. I was able to navigate to the desired .snap file but it would not load (I cannot recall if LOAD did nothing, or if it was grayed out). Ideas? (Edit and FW are 3.1 and 3.0.5 respectively)

Question: do you have to be subscribed to the live bundle multitrack to do this?

Very new to the Wing here, actually to digital boards at all. We’ve always ran large analog Allen & Heath boards, and just got a Wing and are going to install/switch everything over in the next few weeks. I’ve been setting up the board pre-install to help with the transition. Currently, I have the my channels and FX buses going into 3 of the Main buses, then going to matrix 1 to output to the PA. For my Main buses, I have a Band main, Singer main, and a Speaker main. You said in the video that theses mixes were SOF, I just assumed that with them being main buses, if I adjust channels or FX buses it would adjust the levels in the corresponding main bus, without selecting the bus and SOF. Will this work the way I’m thinking? Or do I have to select SOF? Ex. If I want to adjust a vocal, would I have to select SOF on the Vocal main to adjust them? On analog, channels are assigned to subgroup mains, but nothing needs selected to adjust any channel levels going to the mains/FOH. Sorry for the long comment, retraining brain from analog to digital has been rough lol

I'll tell you Mike, this new buss layout they switched to in the 3.05 update has really got me confused about setting up busses. They gave it so many new options and changed it so much that I can't even figure out how to create a subgroup buss and route channels to it. If you know how to use this new set up it would be great if you could do just a short video on how to use it and maybe describe what all these new options do. Thanks

That is confusing to me because I thought the Mains were the four sliders all the way on the right and you didn't say a word about those. How did you end up with mains in the center section?

The Sonnet ECHO-EXP-SEL-T3 will not fit a DeckLink Duo 2 card.

Are keys in stereo. I was looking for a video like this because I have large band and was trying to figure the best way to send everything in 16 channels.

Going to use this for some side fills for our Christmas concert at our school gym. The option to have feet, ms, etc.. is awesome. Look forward to using it. 3.05 firmware just released with more features again.

Bet you were freaking when your Dante disappeared, that should be in the release notes to save heart attacks. Always best to do updates when you have time to troubleshoot. Glad you got it figured out.

How do I backup a scene onto my laptop, when I'm running the Wing PC app? (I haven't received my console yet.)

This was very helpful! I thought I needed the DeckLink Quad 2 for 5 displays (monitor, front projector, stage display, lower thirds, key), but you just showed me that the DeckLink Duo 2 is 4 displays IN ADDITION to the one already supported by the Mac Mini. So that will suffice for us. THANK YOU!

And what about if I would like to control FX in Wing via midi from my sampler? For example if I want to send to command to activate reverb on the vocal in the part of the song (like 5sec part), where I need a huge hall reverb and second command for changing the MIX of rever from 90% to 0% ? Can I do it via midi?

Very helpful video - and I am still experimenting with all this myself! However I believe I am correct in saying that saving a snapshot actually records everything - and the scope affects what is RECALLED, whilst you are talking about saving in this video?
