Hey, i didn't noticed, or you didn't talked about it - after swap to Rapier/FS set, did you used any perk for FS in your Armor, or you just stayed with perks for rapier only? Same question with Blunderbass on last boss Btw, great run, super smooth. I wish toalways have Rapier guys in my runs :)

Sorry the 4 months late comment, i had a similar build last week and dmg on laz was massive, even as tank. You may fit an electrical dmg ring cuz it will affect whole 99% dmg of the Mjolnir.

Purifying heart really nice for those nasty festering stacks! Especially if you have a weapon runeglass to trigger it faster. Thanks for sharing your vid.

@HELLANCE Yes, I believe so - I was using it last week. As far as I could tell, it always removed festering on activation. But it doesn't remove weary, I don't think (only greatsword can do that, and that's probably a bug). I think that all promotions can be removed by cleansing, but curses can't. But unlike something like purifying toast or splash of light, purifying heart removes the whole stack. Flail heavies can also remove the whole stack as a backup option.

@@Malruse Good to know ty. When I’m trading with mobs at max fester stacks there is no point having leeching I believe the timing of heartrunes will cleanse near the top of fester stacks so it’s actually BIS for that mutation 😮

Don’t worry too much about Harnessing, if you tank just make sure you use Enchanted ward on all pieces or big grief 😂

For thrust weapons, mathematically, diamond should still be superior to sapphire. Corrupted are 20% weak to thrust, so putting a sapphire in it only gives 10% more damage to half of the damage (since Corrupted are 30% weak to Arcane). Even if you have all arcane harnessing in your gear (+10%) and let’s say that 10% is additive and not multiplicative (I don’t know which, but additive would be more), then the Arcane half is doing 20% more damage than the thrust half which nets out to 10% more damage in total vs 15% for diamond (which obviously is conditional on hp status).

Interesting write up. The Arc damage is skewed to 15% including the ring and 1 less piece on gear (Artifact) difficult to calculate Diamond uptime as a Tank due to the nature of the role and HP conditions, depending on the mutation (no DoT) diamond would just beat out a straight gem, conversely, removing the condition of full HP means you’re converting the damage unconditionally, thus, straight gem Harnessing

Just make sure you have enchanted, don’t fall in love w the Harnessing because it’s difficult to collect/find gear that will align your gear switches

I can’t confirm if >50% ele resistance has diminishing returns, however, I think 50% is enough for any role, Tank has the luxury of getting an extra 15% resistance to anything if they SNS

Haha yeah I notice a big difference going >50% ele resistance as a DPS. I generally rely on info through playing the game the only exception I make for 10% physical resistance is if a boss or mob is lethal, like the big sword guys in Glacial I use 50% ele, 10% slash

More CC the better for that guy. Big tip, when he spins his staff and slams it causing Arcane damage, HOLD BLOCK! (Dps/Healer) It will save you all from dying :)

That’s the way, thwarting you can get consistent dmg if you play the CC route, but if u intend to use Gavel and not so herd CC use Trenchant 💪🏻

Stopwatch generates 300% threat, but I’ve noticed some problems with taunts not working/cancelling active taunts. Double edged sword bc if you activate 1 taunt and wait out its duration to activate another it cancels the 2nd one, idk why

Just play the game lol main story till 65, run dungeons and get gear. Buy gear off the market but you’ll have to play the game to get the gold to buy stuff. There’s no PTW so you can’t swipe to buy stuff off the market. Artifacts (sometimes considered best in slot depending on build) are farmed at specific mobs/spots. Google “new world artifacts” and you’ll find a list of artifacts and where they drop. It’s not difficult to gear up in new world. The game respects the time you put in unlike other MMOs that’ll make you play 12hrs a day to get minimum progress.

if you use Bile or any type of disease just before Heru dies in the 1st phase, you'll be able to skip the 2nd phase when both bosses are up and not have to purge the pillars

mine doesnt do this much, similioar build, but im using lifering rapier (vicious+rogue+evade) and doesnt have deep freze, is that what make big different? cz i only do 3.8k-7k light, flury up to 15k

Are you using Boon? I use the purple one, you can see it here nwdb.info/db/item/artemisboonpotiond3_t4 gives you +22% damage for a short time when you are ‘Spore drenched’

Just FYI you can still take the bleed perk on flurry, the bleedrapier user will consume their bleed as well as your bleed too. The pop won't appear on their screen, it'll show up on your screen though. We killed kurok in almost under 1 min and last boss in 1:27 in our speedruns running double rapier still.

hey brah, you know what, having Bleed on Flurry as an Evade Rapier could be meta allowing the FnF Rapier player to lose Tondo and pick-up Evade too. We stopped running on the 30th so haven't had any extra time to theory craft, I thought I was a genius running an Evade Rapier alongside a Blood Rapier but it looks like everyones doing it lol

G’day lad, Spike over Attunement for burst to take full advantage of the 15% bonus dmg conditional on the root/chilled, with Spike it’s +40%, big damage. Note, the IG isn’t supposed to be used as a primary weapon light attacking, it’s only for a quick and hard burst with utility in Shower. Yeah add me happy to answer any questions ;)

Yeah have a crack. With Boon Flurry does upward of 25k damage, and light attacks 8-10k.
