Anne said return back from the regions, how did that work? Did they temporarily get the relays back to the regions or did they route through TV-am somehow, guess they weren't geared up for that like GMTV was.

I’d love to know what happened to these dieters did they stick to their weight loss? How are they now? Are they still alive?

My memory is going but not when people talk about 1987 as my family and I won't forget it in a hurry, for one thing I was ten years old at the time so that was a biggie, but it was also when our late great Mother finally got divorced from our dad, but with regards to the big storm of '87, we had bought the house off the council twelve months ago and after the massive amount of wind and upset it caused loads of damage was visible after, namely the aerial had been knocked off the roof, the tiles had fallen into the front garden and a telegraph pole was lying on the front lawn. I think I had a few days off school as well, because of all the trees that had blocked the roads.

I would love to see the final week of After Nine from tv-am from December 1992 where Kathy Taylor who is good friends with Lorraine Kelly and nolonger works in TV was in tears when After Nine came to an end i Believe , I'm guessing that noone at tv-am knew that Kathy Taylor was going to appear on the last ever tv-am on the 31st of December 1992 , and i would love to see clips of Richard Keys final year on tv-am in 1990 aswell . and i guessing that the 21st of December 1990 was the last time Richard Keys hosted tv-am . I hope you do upload those clips TV-am Archive if you are reading this comment

The one thing I have noticed about Madonna throughout the years is that she is never really interested in her fans. She is probably totally bored and fed up with people asking for selfies and signatures, but whenever I see these videos where she is going into a hotel or walking down a high street, she doesn't seem remotely bothered by her fans. I want to use the word EGO and Self-Importance, but that would be too obvious.

The person you might be talking about who is standing in for Lorraine Kelly is Maya Even . Maya Even used to host the 6am till 7am edition of Good Morning Britain replacing Richard Keys. Richard Keys was working at tv-am part time between the end of March till December 1990 because of Sky Sports . Not sure what you was doing at tv-am because i was only 4 years old when that Madonna interview aired

Whatever Blairs many faults and mistakes - and there were many - he was always a superb orator who captured the mood of the people and expressed it. Our politicians nowadays just act like drones and clones. Most people I know are sick of all the current career politicians who have done nothing to help this country, just presided over it's downfall. I'd love to go back to 1992 - The UK was a far better place & I genuinely despair for my kid's future as they grow up in the dangerous and expensive shambles that is 2024 caused by the last 25 years of political self serving and ignorance.

The UK was a better place in 1992 because another thirty four years of Thatcherism had not happened. The previous fourteen years of it were bad enough but Blair hollowed out the Labour Party after John Smith's death, converting it to Thatcherism, which Smith or Kinnock before him would not have. The root cause of all Britain's problems is neoliberalism, above all the deliberate transfer of wealth to the rich, the sole purpose of Thatcherism. There are plenty of measures Labour implemented 1997- 2010 that left and right as well as the apolitical could agree with, but Labour failed to reverse Thatcherism, which is the only way out of the mess of 2024. It failed to reverse anti trade union legislation, ensuring wages remained low for millions and work precarious. Privatisation was left in place even though the public did not benefit from it at all, and right to buy sale of council houses continued. This is one of the major reason for the unaffordable house prices in recent decades ( as well as insufficient building) but Labour has no plans to tackle the housing crisis, including unaffordable rents in 2024. Starmer is the establishment pick to maintain the status quo. In the sixth richest economy in the world, half of adults go to bed early because they cannot afford to heat their homes, and millions are dependent on help from food banks. Self- evidently, this is because of inequality engineered since 1979 for the benefit of the rich who do not pay enough tax. The rich can be rich, that is not an issue, as long as they pay their fair share for the common good. I hear the anguish you express and hope things work out well for your family down the line but the tragedy is that the public has allowed an ideology that does not work for the majority to flourish by accepting it since 1979.

I'm often asked "what's the best weather you've worked with? Hail is gritty. Sleet incisive - just like the way it falls. Sunshine is fascinating, full of ideas, bright as a button. Wind and rain a handful! Frost - different, but there's a place for that. And it's an icy time. Humidity is good. Deluges modern. I loved being around snow. Lightning was tetchy. There's hundreds. But this is my point. I have rarely spent time with such a nice man as Gianfranco Zola.

You have to wonder if some of Diana's weight loss resulted from her illness and the treatment she was receiving. That said, she looks fabulous and is clearly every inch the consummate professional. Has anyone noticed the speaking clock doing its thing on the soundtrack? Now that really takes me back...

The sad part about this was that she didn’t lose the weight because of the diet. She lost the weight from cancer. 😞
