Snappis seem to cause holes. However, pins and boingos do great!

It's amazing how caring they are. My buffs were raised by hand, they never knew a proper mom themselves, and yet, they're such amazing parents, so loving towards the chicks in their care.

Thank you for your tutorial. // SHLM & HaB (peace & love). The Name of the Creator is Hayah asher Hayah, as what He told Moshah (Exodus 3:14), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. There is a curse to the G-o-d name (Isaiah 65:11-12), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. All followers of the Messiah are to do the 7 appointed times (Leviticus 23), but no more animal sacrifices, following the Crucifixion of the Messiah. We are now of the order of MLK TSDQ (King, righteous), to Whom ABRaHM tithed. Ask the Messiah to be your personal Savior. He said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of Hayah (Romans 3:23). The wages for sin is death but the gift of ALaHYM is Everlasting Life through Messiah Yahushgh our Master (Romans 6:23). That if you confess with your mouth the Master Yahushgh and believe in your heart that ALaHYM raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved (Romans 10:9). He Himself is an Atoning Offering for our sins, and not for ours only but also for all the world (1 John 2:2). The Messiah died on the cross, & Resurrected three days later (presenting Himself as First Fruits to the Father). Please ask Him to be your Savior. He is the ONLY way to Everlasting Life.

Tudah Rbah (thank you very much). Your videos have been a great resource for me. I have made a stash now of cloth diapers and one diaper cover (of wool). I plan on making more diaper covers. I also made inserts for the diapers. I got lanolin for the cover, to lanolize it. Little by little, by Yah's mercy and help, I can do these matters. I am a Hebrew, of the tribe of GD. (The world calls our tribe "Cherokee Indians" but we are of the vine of Yah. I know Sequoyah made a language for the tribe of GD, but I do not understand why. I am learning the language we used to speak, before we were scattered (as prophesied in Amos 5:26-27), and that language in the Hebrew is called LSHUN QDSH (Rrighteous tongue), and is in the ancient Hebrew called GBRYT, but now is called Hebrew. The real Name of the Creator is Hayah asher Hayah, as what He told Moses (Exodus 3:13-14). The name of Him is NOT G-o-d, which is truly a cursed name (Isaiah 65:11-12). The warning is preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures, but changed in the English Scriptures. (The English Scriptures is derived from the Latin Vulgate). Though I am Roman (25%), I am also Hebrew (16%), but when Yah spoke of the stars, as many if ABRaHM can count them, as the sand of the sea, He was saying THAT many are the descendants of ABRaHM. AMN UAMT (mighty matters and Truth). All mankind, not just the "Jews"/Yahudym, are supposed to do the 7 appointed times (Leviticus 23), but no more animal sacrifices, following the Resurrection of the Messiah. We are now of the order of MLK TSDQ (Righteous King), to Whom ABRaHM tithed. SHLM UHaB (peace &love).

The snappis don’t attach well after a few washes. Still absorbs quite a bit and if you do origami / anteater fold you could simply wrap it tight enough to go under a wrap without it unraveling. Love this flat

Do you need to have felted the sweater before you sew it? I have an old wool sweater but I'm worried it will unravel when I cut it.

My only addition is I would have doubled it by cutting out the diaper again on the other side of the sweater. Or cut a doubler to add an extra layer of protection to the crotch. Otherwise this is well done.

I hate this diaper. Leaks every damn time. Pain in the ass to get a non leaky fit. Lots of troubleshooting and still leaks. Prepping takes forever and still leaks on my average wetter 4 month old after just 30 minutes. Save that frustration and just get a simplex.

Cashmere!!
@veer495 жыл бұрын
or just try it. Cashmere is super expensive and in my experience it doesn't show up in thrift shops. If you have regular wool and are worried about it being too coarse you can use it just for the waterproof diaper area and add soft (merino) wool cuffs to the legs and waist. It won't be a longy, but will work the same way. There's a tutorial of someone making it like that here on KZbin.
@jlanehardy4 жыл бұрын
That’s where I get all my cashmere from the thrift store for about $3-8 per sweater depending on the sale day. I don’t usually hunt for too long. Probably depends on the season and region!?! Although I’ve seen different people on YT who are all over the country who repurposed cashmere from thrift stores.

Thanks. This is motivation for me. A new cover is needed but not in budget. And I have a wool sweater also some fleece that needs to be used. Not sure I could free hand so I'd have to use the Katrina pattern.
