It's a single player / co-op game. There aren't any dedicated servers, but players can hire a server or host a game themselves. The co-op game can be played with up to 10 people.

With co-op I mean it's PvE for you and others. There is a friendly fire option, but the game in itself isn't really set for PvP. To join a game hosted by others you will need to have the game ID - either a name or a number - and the password to access it.

You're right about consuming runes will increase the regeneration times of the Combat Arts. There are four ways to counter that. One is by investing points in the "Focus" branch of a certain technology as that would increase the amount of runes you can use, but at the same time reduces the regeneration time. The other solution is to put runes in the slots in your armor and / or weapon. It will still have a minor impact at the regeneration time, but the benefit of it is that you get the secondairy effect of the runes as well. The third option is to pick those pieces of armor that boost certain aspects of your character build. The base game has a full set for one of each aspects, like the Detheya set for a ranged Dryad. At least one of the set pieces would increase the Ravaged Impact CA, which makes it a lot easier to avoid consuming that rune. The last option is to use rings and amulets in the slots of your weapon and / or armor. There are rings and amulets in the game that give you +x(amount) to Combat Arts in general, but also ones that gives a certain aspect a boost. But there are also rings that give you +"Y" regeneration per hit. These are quite useful as they will help you to regenerate the cooldown of your Combat Arts a lot faster each and every time you hit your enemy. And even while the regeneration per hit may be slow on the ring / amulet itself, when you have several of them they make quite the impact with each hit. (sorry for the pun) If you're able to combine those 4 methods, you're able to run around with a character having 20 points in a certain combat art - or buff - with a cooldown of 0.5 seconds, while having consumed only one rune of that combat art. As for buffs I think they have a set influence on the cooldown of the Combat Art, no matter how many of those you actually consume. But of course, the effect increases with the more Combat Art runes you consume, because +30% of 3 seconds is only 1 second extra, while +30% of 12 seconds would mean you got 4 extra second added. For buffs it's more important what they do to help you getting your opponents down. The cooldown increase can be pretty easily dealt with when using the method I mentioned above.

Nope, you need to buy it. However, it's dirt cheap at GoG at the moment. And the one at Steam isn't that expensive either. So if you do want to get it, better buy it at GoG right now.

Because I made it to Patrician within two years and have been investing my income into new offices and industries. The income is getting better, but since this game is at Patrician-level, profit margins are very small.

I'm aware of being able to craft a hammer from materials I'm able to find, without having a workbench nearby. But that would also mean that at some point I would end up with so many hammers, I have to turn them into charcoal to avoid a chest to overflow. I have used another idea in another playthrough and that one actually worked well. You'll see in the future how I'm going to handle things. ;)

Which camera issue you're talking about? There may be a solution for it.

There's a button - 2nd to the left I think it is - showing when you have a squadron selected. Click it, then click at the squadron you want to group it with. Both squadrons should appear next to one another with a small bar between them. If one the the squadrons was doing a route, make sure you select that one. You can link ocean going and shallow water ships in groups, but they won't cross the ocean; so that's something to keep an eye at.

My intention is to do about each and every quest the basic game has; then move to the "Underworld"-campaign of the first Sacred, before doing the Ice and Blood quests of this game. So, yes, I will, but it'll take quite some time before I'm actually getting there.

I'm afraid the problems with the synchronicity can't be solved right away. Reason for that is that I'm using the Windows recording program and somehow that gets the sound later as when I hear it over the headphones. And with an employer who doesn't pay me what I deserve..... I have to save some money for a while. As for PoE and Grim Dawn: I have played the latter, but never finished it. I might give it a try at some point again. And who knows, I might even record it. ;)

I'm sorry if the criticism came across as too harsh. That would be really great if you would record it in the future. According to Steam, I already have over 1000 hours in Grim Dawn and I'm playing it on a laptop without a proper graphics card, so I'm also saving up for a desktop PC.@@themadmidget5749

No worries. I'd rather see harsh criticism when it's spot on, as it shows people hope I or the recordings improve over time. And hopefully it will.

It may be something to consider for the next part of the series, when I move into the Underworld campaign.

It's my intention to play this game up to the end of the main quest. I haven't decided - yet anyway - whether or not to continue with Underworld, or to switch to Sacred 2: Ice and Blood. Both have their charming aspects, so I might even do both at some point. I'm glad to read you enjoy watching this and I hope you're able to sit it out up to the end. :D

I have a good memory for things I like. But for this game, as well the others, it's easy. I have a plan and I know what's needed to do that. In case of this game; I want to own most of the cities for my starting nation and have the cities you can earn from countries. To do that I need money and ships, so I just have to make sure I am able to trade goods where they're demanded and buy them where they are made, so I can buy or capture the ships I need. The most complicated thing to deal with is the reputation you have with other nations. But even that can be manipulated a bit if you play smart.

It's not that difficult. Base of the game is to buy low, sell high and mind the reputation with the other nations. The only reason why I had problems with this fight - other as not having played the game for a few months - was that I had to leave that pirate hide-out there for too long because of the wars I was involved in. That'll change in a bit and once that last one is gone, I will be able to concentrate at some of the other aspects of the game again.

You can blame Windows for that. Occasionally it changes the settings for the microphone to work after a windows update.

I hope you'll like the series I'm working at. Considering I've just started, there's a long way to go. :)
