I've just done the Auck - KL - Saigon - KL - Auck trip in Bus Class and would have to agree with many of your observations. Throw in the seemingly ubiquitous flight delays and you've got to wonder how MA stay in business.- despite their excellent cabin crews . The aircraft they use for the Auck sector are tired old planes , some of which are leased- and the Bus Class seats pretty uncomfortable too. They probably don't take the SEAsia - Auck sector that seriously as there's bugger all competition now Thai have left - hopefully they'll be back soon.

It just your bad luck to fly with A332 leased aircraft, i did fly with A333 on business class is way better than this A332. It's totally different product on business class from both type of aircraft, i think you should try to fly again with A333 or A350 then you can give your opinion then...

I am not at all surprised at your review. I used to be a Gold enrich member with over 65K elite miles. First the 2 unfortunate incidents in 2014 dealt them a heavy blow. The pandemic in the past 3 years sort of put their nail on their financial coffin. I tried to support them by flying recently in between BKK and KUL, on their very old 737, and in economy, I was horrified by the sharp decline of service standards and the food. Now they are charging so much more for their subpar business class, it's my cue to leave. My 65K miles only could translate to about 300 MYR in value for flights, that was truly shocking! I won't take my chances anymore with them, I will stick with SIA and TG from now on.

What you paid is what you get, you're paying $2,000 lesser than other premium airlines ie. SQ/EITHAD/QATAR thus pls don't expect to meet those standards ah, bcos of lower fair MAS no money to do maintainence ah, just endure & you sud thank god you still dep/arr safely back to ground, rather then missing in the air and cannot find like MH370, LOL 🤣🤣🤣

Flying MAS is always so convenience to me. But i never experience flying in any of their A330. Try to fly any of their A350, its gonna be a total different experience.

Sorry....I still can't get over you referring to the plane as a "Boeing" A330 😞 I've never had a problem with MH and will again be travelling in March 23 to Langkawi in J. Given what has happened to them over the past 10 years, i'll continue to support them as a great Oneworld carrier to use Qantas points on to the region.

Worst airline with one of the most outdated cabin products. They used to be a top notch airline but now they are worth nothing. Especially this aircraft type which hasn’t even been refitted with their own cabin products.
