Many AC powered corded phones have piezo ringers that are used if they are unplugged.

@@GDoggsElectronicswhen the ac power is connected, the piezo ringer is disconnected. When you unplug it, the piezo ringer is connected. Battery powered phones like this one don’t have an electronic ringer.

The code 3 on the speaker strobe sounds like the tone on the old system at the Dayton air force museum. I went there once when some kid pulled the alarm. At the time I thought the voice evac was someone staying behind to use the pa system 😂
